I’ve got 50 bucks or so invested in a couple of pools so I will have a passing interest in the outcome...
Kinda apathetic about this year’s game as I have no rooting interest - I’m a Ravens fan. But.... would like to see Peyton Manning win another championship. FWIW, I think he is one of the true ‘good guys’ in the NFL. Can he do it against the staunch Sehawks D? That is the question... However, if his O-line can protect him and give him time, and the Broncos can run the ball occasionally, he will pick the Seattle D apart, Richard Sherman or no Richard Sherman.
The problem with the Super Bowl is it is not about Football.
It is about money.
Quite honestly the teams playing are secondary to the rest of the hoopla............
More like who gives a rat’s A$$.... Quit watching pro ball a long time ago.
It lost all of it’s zing for me with all of it’s drug abuse within it’s memebers. Now with most of it’s players more resembling a roving street gang than someone to look up to, I do not see how parent’s let their kids model themselves after these thugs. Well, I guess the parents idolize the thugs as well.
As far as the half time shows, pure filth from what I hear from people that see them. Something that should not be aired where kids are viewing and only be seen inside a strip club. Just what I have been told since I do not watch.
So, I will find something more constructive to do with my 3 or 4 hours. Sort my prep gear, reload, take a walk with my wife, clean my shop. Something besides waste my time on a bunch of punk ass gang bangers and fat rat overpaid commercial execs.
Football fans, mostly.

Just curious, really. Judging by the majority of comments, my question has been answered.
The NFL has been severely diminished and damaged under the worthless “leadership” of Roger Goodell in my humble opinion.
the hot dog vendors . You know, people who have families and make a buck working at the stadium of parking or bars and restaurants who anticipate increased business, except Bob Belcher, who hired Sandy “Can Can” Frye to record a commercial to be run during the Super Bowl for him. Turned out that Can Can recorded tv commercials for a bunch of local restaurants in the area and Bob ended wasting 5,000 dollars. But, yeah, those people.
I care; at least this year.
I will be watching the puppy bowl with kitty halftime. I heard there is to be a “fish”bowl too.
I have zero interest in football. Bleh.
Amazing the number of guys here that don’t care about the Super “Bore” etc, yet you know most of them will be watching it. And if THEIR team were in it of course it would be the best game ever hahahahahaha. Haven’t seen all the guys that brag about not having a TV (or a life) yet but they’ll be here.
