A racially charged shooting incident in North Carolina with eerie parallels to the Trayvon Martin drama has ended in the same way – with a jury refusing to hand state authorities the politically pressured charges they sought against the shooter.
In a decision angering the NAACP and other civil-rights activists clamoring for “justice,” a Charlotte grand jury has declined to indict Charlotte Police Officer Randall Kerrick for voluntary manslaughter in the shooting death of a 24-year-old black man who refused to obey orders to stop after police responded to a robbery call.

Where are you getting you information? are you just making it up?
There is no similarity to the Zimmerman trial. Martin was never enoountered nor was there any verbal interchange. Zimmerman broke off his surveilance and was headed back to his vehicle when he was attacked by Martin. In addition Zimmerman is a black hispanic Treyvon Martin a Afro American, both were black.
I think the correct term is “blaspanic”. So, based on my ancestors background I guess my “race” is Dutchish. Were’s my special dispensation?
So the take away from your comment will be...wait for it...traditional American society is the problem.

"[The toxicology report] shows Jonathan Ferrell did have alcohol in his system the night he was killed but at .06, it was under the legal limit to drive of .08.
There were not any extraordinary drugs in his system."
This one is a tragedy.

At least one resident of the neighborhood reported Ferrell acting violently several minutes before the confrontation with police.
A 9-1-1 tape reveals a frantic call from homeowner Sarah McCartney, who was home alone with her 1-year-old son while her husband was traveling. Through tears, she reported Ferrell trying to kick in her front door in what she thought was an attempted robbery. Banging and yelling can be heard in the background.
“I need help!” McCartney can be heard pleading with the operator. “There’s a guy breaking into my front door, he’s trying to kick it down!”

My wife (prior to us meeting) had a wreck in her car. She got a bump on the head, but was more in shock I think than anything else. The cops showed up quickly, and trying to help her. But she was more concerned with picking her friend up from work. Ended up yelling at and hitting the cop as he stopped her from walking. Thank goodness it was a small town and many years ago. Although they DID give her a ticket for the crash.
I was hellbent on making sure the horse made it back to the barn.
Eyewitness reports of my bloody zombie efforts were funny, after the fact.
