So I was looking at some good date movies out to take my girlfriend to tonight.. and I've really been wanting to see Lone Survivor.
BUT.. I read the reviews and it sounds like there is a lot of cussing and grapic-ness.
Maybe more of a movie you'd go see with some dudes. But taking a girl.. maybe not.
Any other recommendations??
Jack Ryan, Shadow Recruit was good.
She saw that last weekend.
BUT.. she might be willing to see it again.
She also likes that Frozen movie. But she’s seen it too! ha
There was one that may still be around called. About time. Sweet and good.
I liked “We’re the Millers” very much....
I would not suggest Lone Survivor as a date movie. Pretty gory, loaded with f-bombs, high tension.
I will check that one out. What’s it about?

I am glad I looked. I mean it’s a fantastic story.. but not good to take a date to.
What’s American Hustle about?
Well, *I* liked Lone Survivor and so did my daughter. Actually, it was my daughter who brought the movie to my attention.
How about asking your date what SHE wants to see so you can both decide together??
I asked and she kinda left it up to me. But during dinner I will bring it up again to see what she may be interested in.
There are none, get Netflix!
Take her to Lone Survivor! Sure it has language and lots of things blowing up but the movie is fantastic and extremely well done. You can see Marcus Luttrell in a few of the shots. I loved the film and its my version of a “chick flick”.

American Hustle is about ABSCAM - grifters mobsters, dumb cops and the 1970’s
I REALLY do want to see it. But I know there’s lots of F bombs and some graphic-ness.. I just don’t want to make her feel uncomfortable.
Since this is only like our 5th date. We haven’t been dating for years or anything.
Jennifer Aniston’s latest movie with a good surrounding cast. A likeable part time drug seller gets snagged into picking up a load of marijuana by his lying supplier.
Ends up having to ‘hire’ a family (stripper Aniston, a local boy in his building and a girl from off the streets).
The movie is mostly about the troubles they have in Mexico and afterwards coming. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was very funny.
