Sen. Marco Rubios (R-Fla.) political stock is rated a buy by major Republican fundraisers in Washington, who are bullish on Rubios future as a 2016 presidential candidate.
A group of Republican fundraising heavyweights and wise men in Washingtons business community are solidly behind Rubio, and see him not only as someone who could win the White House, but someone they can work with.
The fundraisers include Bill Paxon, a former New York lawmaker who is now a senior adviser at Akin Gump; Dirk Van Dongen, the president of the National Wholesalers Association; and Wayne Berman, a big-time donor with a knack for picking winning candidates in presidential primaries.
All three are a party of the business wing of the Republican Party that has clashed with the Tea Party. Their support for Rubio suggests they seem him as a possible ally going forward.

and see him not only as someone who could win the White House, but someone they can work with......
MEANING he is SPINELESS!
OR AS THEY SAY IN SPANISH.....”NO Cojones”
When talking so enthusiastically with Mark Levin about the amnesty bill, Rubio sounded like the slimiest used car salesman I’ve ever heard. Please God,...not Rubio.
“Business Wing of the Republican Party” So this means amnesty whores. They like Rubio....what does that say?
Once Marco put on that amnesty cloak, he was off my PPI forever.
rubio’s bumper sticker for 2016 reads “I’ll say anything to be liked.”
Bill Paxon: the epitome of GOP failure
Rubio has been awful quiet on the immigration debate lately. Wonder why?
Unfortunately for Rubio he cannot unsay what he has said about Amnesty. He, like Boner, is a Democrat working to put into place the permanent Single Party Democrat Socialist State.
No surprise there. As I said many times: The Republican party no longer exists. We have the Democrat and Democrat lite party. Basically a one party system in this country which is why everything is going to hell in a handbasket and why we need a 3rd party NOW. Otherwise come 2016 it’s going to be the same thing - The people are going to have two candidates - The Democrat or the Democrat II - shoved down their throats again, basically the same thing.
Just think: Unless we get a 3rd party we could quite possibly see the country forced to choose between Rubio or Hillary. Watch, that’s what is going to happen. The Marxist propaganda machine posing as our impartial media is going to destroy all the candidates they don’t agree with until two leftists are all that’s left - Hillary and Rubio, and they are going to promote the hell out of them so the people think that is their only choice. BUT if we had a 3rd party and a real conservative running the Marxists would have no choice but to make it a 3-way race and we could see these two dirtbags debated into mush.
No amnesty there, /S.
The Huckster is pumping Lindsey Graham in my state. Should Rubio get the nomination, I will not vote.
Rubio would be a good candidate, IMHO, but it’s going to be Romney again.
Someone will have to remind Rubio to take a drink of water before starting his speeches.
I don’t like gender politics any more than anyone else here, but I think our only real hope is a Conservative woman candidate.
More Mehhiccans!
More Mehhiccans!
GOTTA HAVE MORE MORE MEHHICCANS MEHHICCANS!!!
We’re going to get another big corporate big banker Toadie just like always.
Rubio will NEVER have my vote—no matter how much he and the GOPe run around trying to reestablish his PHONY conservative bona fides.
He betrayed his true nature and WE WILL NEVER FORGET or be fooled.
As a Floridian I was a huge Rubio fan until the amnesty debacle. I knew he wasn’t good in this one issue, but he is solid in virtually everything else, and could articulate conservatism better than anyone in a generation. Then, this immigration debate destroyed all that. He sounded pathetic...absolutely terrible trying to push this crap sandwich Schumer bill. He lost all credibility because he adopted all the same tactics the Dems used to push Obamacare. It was a rush to vote, lied about what’s in it and adopted BS sloganeering. Everything he wasn’t in 2010.
I am one that would accept some middle ground on this issue...but not with this regime in place to renege on promises. And not without real border shutdown and enforcement. The Senate bill did nothing but reward lawbreakers without addressing the causes.
The past is prologue; that sounds like one Richard M. Nixon in 1968.
