THE ONE PERCENT SET TO FLEE NEW YORK CITY
Eye On the Nation News ^ | 03/04/2014

Posted on 03/04/2014 10:06:50 AM PST by Beave Meister

According to the New York Post, New York City’s mad cap Sandinista Mayor Bill de Blasio is about to find out a truth that conservatives have known all along, that bashing the rich can only go so far.

It seems when he is not throwing little children out of charter schools or banning carriage rides in Central Park, de Blasio is on full class warfare mode and is going after New York’s one percent with a vengeance. It seems that the wealthy elite are starting to have had enough and are getting ready to decamp en masse, to Florida it appears by preference, but presumably also to other low tax, low regulation red states where they appreciate people of wealth.

This will be nothing short of a disaster for the Big Apple. Because of that city’s confiscatory taxes, the rich provide a great deal of the money that it takes to fill pot holes and pay the police. That money will be missed if the glitterati are suddenly in Florida and Texas. Perhaps their abandoned mansions can be turned into low income housing, just as the palaces of the nobility were in Russia after the Bolshevik Revolution.

So did CA, but then they decided to take the taxes retroactively when that time period ceased. Once you have settled into a city and all the expense to set a business up, you’d not want to have to dismantle it 10 years later! Hopefully business people are smart enough to see through this ruse.

Has everyone seen the commercials to entice business to come to NY? They offer 10 years tax free. They wouldn’t have to do that if it were business-friendly in the first place.

Good luck finding a 10 year lease to rent space for a business in NY. It's the 11th year that might put you out of business.

Yes, was just commenting last night, that the NY bastion of liberalism, seems to think they can/should attract more of the capitalist types by the tax-free bribes.

They’ll probably go to Sarasota or Miami, which already have lots of mega-rich people.

Miami isn't one of my favorite places, I still don't wish an influx of NYers on them.

I’m one of the ones who wants to leave! I’m not a 1%’er though; more of a 10%’er. And I’m not a lib! The governor already said I’m not welcome here, so Please Florida or Texas, Take me!

ONLY thing remaining to do IS TO bait him into doing more of it..
Encourage him to make WAR ON THE RICH...

Most all of them are liberals(or Rinos) anyway... they deserve it...
DEMAND mugging the rich in New York City..
The entertainment value would be thru the roof..

I assume a 10 percenter in NYC would be close to a 1 percenter in flyover country.

Go for it!

Given it is now a digital internet connected world, why the financial industry has to cluster together at Wall Street or any other particular venue beats me.

My oldest son lives near Dallas and works in the financial industry. His employer is based in NYC, but my son spends about a third of his time visiting clients all over the country, and the remainder talking to them on his cell phone, where he is always accessible. He convinced his employer not to worry about "where I get my mail." He lives about 40 miles north of Dallas in the Plano/McKinney area. His house is twice the size of the one he had in NJ, for exactly the same price.

Liberals vote in all this crap and then move because it doesn’t work. Then they just infest another state with their stupidity, such as the once conservative North Carolina.

That's why Trump built a high-end apartment tower in New Rochelle, right next to the train station on the New Haven line.

Even George M. Cohan knew it. "Only 45 minutes from Broadway..."
