Same thing happened to me when I visited Shinjuku Station.

Oh, I dunno.

I was stationed there before it acquired statehood.
Radar dude eyeballing Russian aircraft as part of the DEW line.
Snowed in part of the year but the chow was absolutely fantastic.

It just looks so beautiful in the pictures and movies. Where I live it’s people on top of people, on top of people.....
I’d love to be able to go outside and use my telescope to see stars again.

They outlawed Chewing gum in Singapore, trade agreements finally got them to relent on therapeutic gums like anti-smoking, but still no chewing or selling of regular gum.
It’s the law dude.

They outlawed Chewing gum in SingaporeAnd it's been that way since, at least, the mid 80's when I was there.
We were warned to not even take a pack of gum with us. If we were caught with a pack of gum it could result in a caning.
