I have a reason to post this. At Palm Sunday services today, the celebrant noted that at one end of Holy Week people were laying palm branches and cloaks on the ground and hailing Jesus, and at the other end they were yelling "Crucify Him!"

The celebrant noted how the passions of movements can be evanescent, citing this article as an example, i.e. the Tea Party is running out of steam.

I wrote a note to the celebrant that said, as best I can recollect, "How can you disparage the very people who are fighting hard for your freedom of religion? I am the Tea Party, and I am not running out of steam." After the service I put the note in my right hand and extended it as if to shake his right hand, stuffing the note in his hand hard. Then I walked away.

I left furious. I'm still furious. How can anyone think the Tea Party is out of steam when the BLM has been chased off a rancher's land, and confiscated cows released?

I am going to a different church for Easter services, but that still leaves the question; are we running out of steam?

When they quit writing articles like this about the Tea Party, Sarah Palin and Ted Cruz, then you can start worrying.

They publish one or two of these articles every month.

It’s just like when they used to run the daily opinion polls saying that Slick Willy’s impeachment was making him more popular.

They’re trying to peel off the weak sisters.

Running out of steam? I don’t think so.

Look at Nevada last week when thousands of AMERICANS rallied to a Mormon rancher when the government moved against him.

It ain’t that we’re running out of steam. They only think that because we haven’t been holding the rallies on the Mall in DC lately.

We’ve just graduated to more direct action. We’re influencing the candidates who run, and who win primaries. We’re deluging the congressional switchboards with calls. We’re letting the eGOP know that status quo isn’t cool any more.

And we’re keeping our powder dry in case all that ain’t enough.

Gee, for the last 6 years not a week goes by without a “Demise of the tea party” article.

Wishful thinking.

The real question the media is asking is how can we find them to crucify them. The Tea Party is we the freedom loving people of the U.S.

They cannot find us to destroy us.

Oh good Lord. How many times over the past several years have I seen this headline or heard a talking head spout this inane question?

I’m still here, I just haven’t been attending any meetings lately. I have, however reached the point where the “lesser of two evils” means nothing to me. I have certain fiscal and social red lines. If you try to straddle the lines, you have stepped over it as far as I’m concerned. Write me off a your own peril. I am Tea Party.

As long as tea party members participate as if their life depends on it, no it will not run out of power.

If complacency starts to work itself in then yes, it won’t be long before it does start to run out of steam.

The TEA party ain't a party.

It's people who have come to the realization that unlimited government kills. Everything.

I am really confused. Help please.

Christian Science Monitor.

I look at their website. I see nothing specifically Christian about it. It just seems like Salon, or HuffPuff, random and leftist bent.

So, Who the hell are these people?

The nefarious “Tea Party,” although lacking objective definition, surely generates waves of angst.
