At least the Norkies don't have to eat out of cardboard boxes, and (usually) their potatoes are bigger.

Wonder how many Norks died to make these lavish coats those bums are wearing, generously donated by Dear Leader?
____________

I won't mention that most of what the two in the picture is actually donated by taxpayers, but our Dear Leader needs to skim a buck off everything that is given out. Just like NK!

“Eventually the regime will fall, borders will open and the North Koreans are going to be absolutely stupefied at the charade that’s been sold to them.”

I hope that happens HERE in a couple of years!

Wild hogs have become a problem so bacon has become a staple of the diet :).

We eat very well here in the Everglades.

Great Blue Heron Hash, Cormorant Casserole, and Pelican Pie are among my favorites, with Iced ibis for dessert.

Gator tail is also good for variety, along with Burmese python Burgers.

Of course, we don’t get much snow down here, so that is sadly lacking in our Crackah Cuisine.

The NORKS are probably jealous; “they have BIRDS to eat??!!”

During the Soviet days, the Communists played "The Grapes of Wrath" in their movie theaters to show Russians how bad Americans were suffering.

All the Russians in the audience were thinking was "In America, even the POOR have AUTOMOBILES ?!?"

Spotted Owl sure is tasty fixed up like that. And you can make crawfishspotted owl bisque with any extras...

Spell checker insists that I should spell spotted owl as craYfish but we know better. Just awful darn hard to get up in this neck of the woods. Too many liberals ;-)

"stupefied"

Some years ago I read a book by a Soviet defector who was a jet pilot in their air force. A few days after he had defected to American authorities, they took him around to show him what life was like in the U.S. At first he didn't believe his hosts. He thought everything (clothing stores, supermarkets stocked with food, lots of cars) was all a trick. It took him a while to realize how bad he'd been duped by the commies in his country about life in a capitalist country.

What's funny is that Pyongyang is also the same "staged" city. It's the only place tourists are allowed to visit. It's their showcase. Nobody is starving. Everyone is fit and healthy. No bums or beggars. North Korean citizens themselves are not allowed to travel there. Norks are literally hand-selected (forced) to reside in Pyongyang (only the most beautiful --and high-ranking party members).

It's kinda like the capital city in the Hunger Games --except even Pyongyang is decades behind the West.

Couldn’t catch a bird and couldn’t find any snow so we ate some mud-bugs!

The Norks are probably envious.
