BOISE, Idaho (AP) - A federal magistrate judge has ruled that Idaho's ban on same-sex marriage is unconstitutional.

U.S. District Magistrate Judge Candy Dale wrote in the ruling Tuesday evening that Idaho's laws banning same-sex marriage unconstitutionally deny gay and lesbian citizens of their fundamental right to marry.

Just as we expected the federal bench will institute homosexual marriage across the land. Tyrants they have become.

A license permits what is illegal.

In a rational world a man & woman would not require a “marriage license”.

I sure hope Butch does the right thing.

I’ve become convinced that the GOP governors, as well as other leading GOP voices, who should be chomping and spitting nails over this kind of judicial activism and the accompanying cultural slide into depravity, are bascially... cowards. Yellow-bellied cowards.

As their silence continues, my contempt for them and the Republican Party grows by leaps and bounds every day. If they don’t stand up to this, they won’t stand up to anything.

The “fundamental right to marry”? Where did he find that? He must have been looking under a penumbra or something. There is no right to marry.

“We also need to regain the offensive. I think that one minor way to do that, at least in part, is to begin calling for the repeal of Lawrence v. Texas.”

Yes, Lawrence needs to be repealed, but navigating such a case to the SCOTUS that would overturn Lawrence may be somewhat complicated.

It would take a plaintiff to sue a state on the basis that the legalization of sodomy infringes on their constitutional rights.

How about sexual deviancy being a sign of mental illness? That they are high functioning in other areas, doesn’t make them sane.

There IS rational reason to deny homosexual marriages...they ARE second class because the primary biological reason for marriage and pair bonding is to create and raise children.

The only rational reason to deny homosexual "marriages" is the same reason to deny dry water or hot ice.

Ain't no sucha thing. THAT'S why it should be denied.

Fighting the normalization of homosexuality is harder, but it can be done. We need social science stats and a regular campaign pointing out that homosexuality is abnormal and that the APA’s switch in 1972 was done for politics and not for science.

can someone help me out here?

Homosexuals, like heterosexuals, have the identical right to marry - that is, to form a legally-recognized relationship with a member of the opposite sex.

Oh they are COMPLETE cowards. But they have plenty of cowards calling themselves right wing conservatives to draw their cowardice from.

Every one of the lesser evil crew are at the top of that list. Too gutless to stand on principle. Hell they get ‘offended’ by people who even discuss standing on principle. They FIGHT people that say we need to stand on principle!

No one wants to think ill of their online BFFs much less their next door/lifetime buddy. But who is it that empowers these gutless pols? Yup. the lesser evil crew. Why? So they can WIN! What do they win? Complete cowardice in office and refusal to defend the will of the people.

Anyone wanna prove that wrong? Pack a lunch.

I think SCOTUS established marriage as a “fundamental right” in a case allowing prisoners to marry. But I can’t remember more than that - will have to look it up.

These marriage amendments are dropping like flies. Ultimately the Supreme Court is to blame as they opened door for this.

These marriage amendments turned over to the government (or rather validated) a crushing power to redefine natural law and demand that we bow to its newly created "reality".

Banning "same-sex marriage" bans something that does not exist in the normal world of biology, reality and reason. However within the legislation, the perverted fake construct of SSM was created passively, out of nothing.

Anyone who challenges and mocks the blatant lie of "same-sex marriage" is poking the beast in the eye and telling it it's wrong and stupid and doesn't have the authority to define reality. The beast doesn't tolerate such disrespect nor any suggestion that it isn't the highest power in the land.

This particular abomination and debasement of the language is forcing people to openly choose sides between lies and truth. Most will go along to get along, hoping that the beast will leave them alone in peace. Those holding tight to **truth** will be hunted down and persecuted by not only beast.gov and the sodomites, but by the tolerant rabble who will insist and demand that we all get along.

First they came for the wedding planners, bakers, and photographers...

There is no fundamental right to marry. Try marrying your sister to see why that’s true.

Then the Supreme Court needs to find me a 5 foot Japanese-American with red hair, Nymphomainia, Tawney Kitaen’s body from 1987 and a love of semi-older right wing guys because if they established that I have the right, then they need to ensure I get to exercise that right.
