A surfer remains in jail after allegedly hitting an elderly Hawaiian woman with her car in a fit of road rage.

Jill Hansen is charged with attempted murder for allegedly hitting Elizabeth Conklin with her car Wednesday. She's being held on $1 million bail.

Conklin, 73, told ABC News she doesn’t remember the incident.

“I parked in my normal parking place, and I got out and all of a sudden I woke up in an ambulance,” Conklin said from her Honolulu hospital room, where she sported two black eyes.

According to police, Hansen, 30, waited until Conklin was out of her car before hitting her.

Conklin said a bystander in the parking garage saw the incident and bashed in Hansen’s rear window when she appeared to prepare to hit Conklin again.

“He saw her in her car getting ready to hit me again. He totally saved my life,” said Conklin.

My Dad often told the story. When he enlisted in the Navy in 1938 his Dad told him, "Son those Navy boys like to get tattoos. If you get one, don't come back here."

He made it through Pearl Harbor and the rest of the war without any tattoos.

I almost know her well enough to say what I am actually thinking - “why the f would a beautiful woman like you cover yourself with those trash marks?”

In my experience, you can say virtually anything to a woman and get away with it, with two caveats: 1) you have to say it in a non-judgmental way (this can be difficult if you are truly repulsed by it), 2) it helps a lot if she already finds you attractive. I tend to be plain-spoken, but at the same time very low-key in my speech, and I have surprised even myself on occasion not only at what I've gotten away with asking, but with the verbose and honest responses I've gotten as a result.

I'm assuming she is moving out to live on her own when she turns 18...

she surely does, the best bit of that piece was that her own father has a restraining order against her and says she used facebook to find someone to kill him!

Crazy AND S.t.u.p.i.d.

Yeah, how bizarre was that? Sure, Facebook is the place to go to find a hired killer!

Yeah, as if that’s not a guy hired to wear a doctor’s jacket. And, if it isn’t, I don’t want him as my doctor, since he’s obviously not particularly good at his craft (being ignorant of the risks of hepatitis from tattooing, et al.). It’d be like visiting a doctor who smokes three packs a day...

Sounds like my mother. She made me swear a blood oath that I would never get a tattoo, ride a motorcycle, be a police officer, join the CIA, or be a teenage mother.

So were you five for five? (I flunked out on the motorcycle riding. I raced them for 3 years.)

I will pray that her mind will be changed about getting a tattoo. It seemed like 80% of my daughter’s friends got tats at 17-18. These were top students. I was thankful that my daughter didn’t consider one. Now I see all these pretty 19-20 yr olds with ugly ink marks on their bodies and know that they will soon wonder what in the world they were thinking. I have started to notice that the new thing is to gauge their ears.

So far. Obviously the chance of being a teenage mother expired a long time ago (I’m 47), but I’ve avoided the others.

There is also an active restraining order filed by her father.

According to the court documents, her father says she used Facebook to find someone to murder him and his family."

You know what they say..., crazy in the head..., crazy in the bed....

Just keep her away from sharp objects and the internet....
