A BANK officers family cancelled his wedding preparations in Nizamabad after pictures of his bride and her former boyfriend were posted on Facebook, Tamil Nesan reported.
While relatives were attending to the wedding preparations on Thursday, the former boyfriend, identified only as Azad, and two others barged into the womans home and demanded that she tie the knot with him.
The three fled when police were called.
Azad and the other two are graduates of the Malla Reddy Engineering College, where the bank officer had also studied.
Following the incident, Azad allegedly hacked into the bank officers Facebook account and posted pictures of him and the 23-year-old woman, a junior bank executive.
The next day, the womans family aborted the wedding plans.
Hyderabad state police have since arrested Azad and his accomplices
It’s not really a successful celebration without at least one good beheading.
It reminds me of a story I read about how a fiancee cheated on her soon-to-be husband. Once he found out, he got pictorial evidence of her liaisons and went through with the wedding, until the dinner when he showed intimate pictures of her and the person she was cheating with.
He then cancelled the marriage.
this short article was somewhat confusing to me... had to read twice... perhaps it is the wine...
You can’t just cancel a marriage. Bunk.
Maybe in your part of the back country, you’re married for life upon saying your “I do’s” but in most of the rest of the civilized world, you can get your marriage annulled with sufficient cause.

Actually, until the “state” marriage license is signed and submitted the marriage is not recognized as legal.
“Blame it all on my roots.
I showed up in boots
at your black tie affair.”
PS- "ruined" your black tie affair.
I could have taken 10 seconds and looked up the lyrics.
Ooh la la, aren’t you the cosmopolitan one! If you don’t like what I point out, then I live in the back country.
I’d put my life’s experiences up against yours any time, especially since you think marriages could (or should) be “cancelled. That was one of the stupidest stories I’ve ever heard, what a maroon.
The point was what mattered more than the lyrics. I chuckled that we both thought the same thing at the same time.
These are Indians and most probably are not muslims.
Nizamabad is about a third muslim, two thirds hindu - so could go either way.
Right, annulment. I know annulment cancels a marriage, but you don’t just cancel a marriage.
as in “I cancel this” I know annulment does it, it’s a legal process.
You should really learn to read entire sentences before calling other people dumb. The marriage hadn’t happened yet: “cancelled his wedding preparations”. And yes indeed pretty much everywhere you can cancel a marriage before the wedding.
“I” should learn to read???? hahahahahahaha You’re so far off, you’re quoting the wrong post.
“Once he found out, he got pictorial evidence of her liaisons and went through with the wedding”
