I really wanted to post this pic, but the mods would ban me for sure...

Step 1 - Open clothes hamper lid.
Step 2 - Add cat to hamper.
Step 3 - In one swift motion, add second cat to hamper and close lid.
Repeat on an as-needed basis when minor attitude corrections are required.
I though you had to tie their tails together until the dominant one prevailed
Sometimes. If your dog is territorial, it's best to introduce the new dog off-property, and then bring them into the home together.
We visited friends yesterday with a new kitty - a cute little red & white tabby with Scottish Fold-type ears. It had been abandoned in their yard at the estimated age of 5 weeks - not yet weaned. They fed it on kitty formula, & then baby food & now it’s a healthy little guy. It’s name went from Butterscotch to Hellboy, as it’s a little terror - running & climbing everywhere, attacking feet & legs. The older cat, Pudding, has been very patient with it. When Pudding finally got tired of the incessant attacks, he simply put his paw over it, pushed it to the floor & bit Hellboy’s ear. He’s been a little more circumspect around Pudding since then.
A single cat is something of an enigma, personality wise, because it is a cat and human relationship. But when there are two cats, you realize they have two very different personalities.
Time to go “veggie” !
That’ll work!
That is for sure.
Ours are night and day. The slightly younger one has starte dto become domineering even though quite a bit smaller than the older Siamese. Occasionally he will over-rev and start to rip up the older cat.
Now we have an outside cat that adopted us that the young one hates with a passion. The outside guy will remain that way per the wife's decree (cat box load, etc) Our problem is letting the young one outside for an outing when the new guy is around. Instant chase scene.
We have had no luck getting him to accept the presence of him out on our lanai where he spends the night and when it rains.
The older cat is very mellow about it all unless food is involved. His life revolves around food.
