US Airways flight makes emergency landing after dog poops in the aisle twice

KANSAS CITY, Miss., May 30 (UPI) --A US Airways flight from Los Angeles to Philadelphia was forced to make an emergency landing in Kansas City after a service dog started pooping in the aisle and the flight crew was unable to contain the mess.

The passengers aboard US Airways Flight 598 could only sit back and watch while a big dog defecated in the aisle not once, but twice.

After the dog went to the bathroom for the first time about an hour into the flight, the crew did their best to deal with the mess but they were unable to contain the smell.

"An hour later, it still smelled bad, and after they cleaned it all up, it pooped again," Passenger Steve McCall told INSIDE EDITION. "A couple of people started dry-heaving, a couple of people were throwing up."

Yeah and you can claim any animal is a service animal and get away with it. A professionally trained service dog would almost certainly not have done this.

First off, who says he’s a service dog? Oh, the person pretending to have PTSD, I get it. Anyone can claim any thing. Doesn’t mean it’s a trained service animal.

I agree with you, the service dog can be anything, but just wanted to let you know, a seeing eye dog is a dog that has graduated from The Seeing Eye in NJ. (i think it’s in NJ)

The rest are guide dogs.

That’s just a stupid statement. Do you think the guide dog has a GPS to tell him/her where they are going? The guide dog doesn’t know where to go, the blind person tells them where to go. (left, right, etc) So the guide dog would just lead the blind person and the blind one would tell him the commands.

The scum in coach should feel lucky they weren’t transporting cows in that plane.

My point is there is no need for a LOOSE service dog in an airplane. The dog should be in a cage like my dog is while traveling on flights with me.

Diapers don't keep the stink inside, I know that for a fact.
As a father I raised two kids; my wife had a hard time with both pregnancies, so I did the changing for the first year on both kids.
And plenty of times there after.
