We have previously discussed how some insanity defense cases raise actions that are identical to those of religious figures in the Bible.
What is considered a divine act in the Bible remains a heinous act in the criminal code. That is the paradox involved in the case of Kimberly Lucas, 40, who killed her former partner’s two-year-old daughter after listening to a sermon of Metropolitan Community Church Pastor Lea Brown on Genesis 22 where God asks Abraham to kill his son Isaac.

In a different article, there was a picture the couple in happier days — with an Obama sign.
Any worthwhile preacher would explain that God does not ask anything of us that he himself would not be willing to do. As God asked Abraham to offer up his son, God the Father would offer up his.
The woman (per other news accounts) is a licensed mental health counselor, so knows exactly what to say to turn an heinous act of jilted lover’s revenge into an insanity defense. (Actually, both she and the girl’s mother are both licensed mental health counselors)
She also seems to have known how to write a suicide note, without the suicide.
Yeah, you missed something: there’s no “his” about it. She, and the children’s mother, are lesbians.
She killed her former “partner’s” daughter, and attempted to also kill the partner’s son, after (during?) the breakup.
BTW, both “womyn” are Florida licensed mental health counselor’s; and the sermon she’s blaming was at an LGBT “church”, with a lesbian “pastor”.

I hope you are not expecting a place of worship that calls itself the Metropolitan Community Church to have a Biblical scholar as a preacher.
