First Grader Turns Himself In for Having Toy Gun, Faces Expulsion
Breitbart ^ | 06/06/2014 | UPI

Darin left his backpack at a friend's house and had to be sent to school with a backup. When he discovered the toy in the bag, knowing it was illegal, Darin turned the contraband into his teacher.

"He found the toy gun on the outside pocket," Darin's father Chris Simak told local reporters. "He took it straight to the teacher and said that he wasn't allowed to have it."

Darin's teacher followed protocol and brought the first grader to the principal, where he was immediately suspended pending an expulsion hearing. According to the school charter, the punishment for bringing a toy weapon to school is expulsion for "a period of not less than one (1) year."

"He did the right thing, and we're trying to teach him the right way," Simak said, "and now they're teaching him the wrong way."

I guess so many people have been brainwashed with that thought in mind that if they see a gun anywhere, they automatically assume something bad is going to happen.

You guess wrong. Change it to "a few people who wield power in government, as opposed a large majority of level-headed American subjects of that power" and you've got it right.

WE ARE THE MAJORITY. The nutcases who believe in expelling a small child for A YEAR for brining a toy gun to school, are a very small group who have usurped the force of government (government is SOLELY a force, nothing more, nothing less) to wield over a majority.

Get your kids out of the public/govt schools, NOW!!!

Two of my granddaughters are having graduation celebrations today, both are homeschooled, one has never spent a day in a school outside her home.

Were that my kid I’d buy him a tee-shirt that says “Arms Smuggler”. And a shirt for myself that says “Arm Smugglers Dad”; to wear to the next parent teachers conference.

Well, that was a real life-lesson for the young boy to learn. “Never tell the truth.”

Well....

If the “RULE” is that “ANYONE” who touches a toy gun at school must be EXPELLED, then shouldn’t the TEACHER and the PRINCIPAL also be expelled?

Surely there can be no defense for the so-called adults regarding accidental possession or good intentions! The “RULE” is the “RULE”!

When may we expect that school to announce that it has fired those two idiotic toy-touchers?

First grader + toy gun = expulsion? I’d sue...I’d sue big...I’d sue everyone in sight.

Then I had to pay $5 or $10 ransom to get the mp3 player back...

Hey,look at the bright side. That $10 went into the teachers' union's retirement fund.

I would say there is no common sense or realistic perception of right and wrong anymore - but really believe it is an agenda to make all children conform to the same exact standards of ‘good little robots’.

Big Brother is running the schools now and “1984” is becoming a reality with a Ministry of Truth, Ministry of Plenty, and Ministry of Peace, etc.

Common Core enters the fray too.

-— Big Brother is running the schools now -—

Since the beginning. Read John Gatto’s “Underground History of American Education,” or check out his YouTube videos.

Few people noticed but logic was removed from high school curriculums decades ago, despite the lip-service given to “critical thinking.”

Roger that. I slipped for a second and basically forgot myself. The lsm makes it “appear” that most folks are that hopolophobic (sp?) but it probably ain’t true.

The teacher should have taken the toy gun and put it her desk. The made it go away. Sometimes a person can’t go by the book.

Leftists sure are paranoid that someone might get the idea to shoot those that oppress them or threaten them. Now it all makes sense.

The children will not be taught to read and write and calculate--and certainly not to think.

They will be taught that government is always right and will always tell them what to do and that they must do it.

The will be taught to never question, no matter how illogical the government's orders may be.

When it is time to be killed by an environment created by government to justify its power they will be taught to die dry-eyed.

And along the way they will inform on their mother and father and sister and brother and the kid next door and the couple across the street.

It is 1984.

Now back to work; there's nothing to see here.

Yes, you’re right. It has been an insidious, long term agenda, something we ‘trusting’ people didn’t take notice of. The liberals/socialists have had the patience - over decades- to move their plans forward.

‘We’ have waited too long and I grow frustrated with those who think we can find “perfect” people to suddenly change everything back to what it was. There are no perfect people and it will take ‘increments’ to change things, if we can.

The only saving thing will be moral, God fearing parents and Churches to undercut what the government and schools are doing - and I fear that even many of those parents will not take the time out of their ‘busy’ days, to do it.
