Dr James Screen of Exeter uni in England is a mathematician who has been studying the arctic ice sheet for several years. According to a university announcement highlighting his latest research:
Climate change is unlikely to lead to more days of extreme cold, similar to those that gripped the USA in a deep freeze last winter ... [Recent changes in the Arctic climate have] actually reduced the risk of cold extremes across large swathes of the Northern Hemisphere.
Screen's new paper is published in the hefty climate journal Nature Climate Change. In it he writes:
Subseasonal cold-season temperature variability has significantly decreased over the mid- to high-latitude Northern Hemisphere in recent decades. This is partly because northerly winds and associated cold days are warming more rapidly than southerly winds and warm days ... decreases in subseasonal cold-season temperature variability ... are detectable in the observational record and are highly robust in twenty-first-century climate model simulations.

Gore’s so called truth serum was banned in England and the dude who extrapolated the global warming data was convicted of fraud because it was shown that he had manipulated the data and the conclusions were erroneous. To claim global warming is real is to say it never snows in Southern California - Ever! Both are false statements!
I almost failed my environmental science class because it was so politically biased towards the left and I got into so many fights with my fellow students about the author’s conclusion being based on this so-called scientist that I finally stopped responding in the thread discussions. I had initially dropped the class when the teacher exclaimed to the class that global warming was real and gave his opinion that it was caused by the winds created by man. I said to myself I was not going to learn anything from this leftist kook! It was my last class remaining for a degree so I had to take it.
They can’t even get their stories straight. But the key line in the guy’s spiel is that about robust indications in climate models. That is sort of like saying we think this will happen so we programmed it into our models. In other words, circular reasoning. But right or wrong, the argument is between two sets of idiots so only an idiot can win.
When you are required to take a class taught by a raving liberal to finish your degree, it is wise to just shut up and toe the line publicly.
Logic, reason, and fact do not matter to these zealots. It is only the hysteria, the unrelenting and immutable urgency of the hysteria of now, that matters.
Every instance of their forefathers’ (those Ice Age Chicken Littles of the 70s) warnings make no nevermind - that was practice that never materialized into actuality.
Neither do admissions of obfuscation, data manipulation and outright lying. It is the urgency of that feeling. That feeling that those hysterically elite few need to control the rest of us in our thoughts, deeds and actions.
A sane and just society would cut them down like the rabid dogs they are.
