If you don't eat chili peppers or hot curry much you may want to reassess that given new research that claims the peppers and curry can play a role in reducing the risk of colorectal and bowel tumors, as well as extend a person's lifespan by 30 percent.

The study claims the active ingredient in chili peppers, called dietary capsaicin, decreases the cancer risk as it triggers chronic activation of an ion channel called TRPV1, which is a sensory neuron that protects the intestine against acidity and spicy chemicals.

In essence adding chili peppers and hot curries to the diet can not only lower the risk of bowel cancer the foods can extend life and even boost memory, according to the research.

The peppers and curry intake can also help burn off calories more easily, and earlier research indicates capsaicin lowers blood pressure.

Heh! My wife cannot believe that I slather Mrs Renfrow's Ghost Pepper Salsa on a hard boiled egg most mornings for breakfast.

All while she eats some bland hig-fiber cereal crap.

Have to show her this and ask who's guts are healthiest?

I use tooth pick drops of stuff similar to that, on my pizza, and other foods. Make darn sure to mix it in so as to not eat a concentrated pocket—or experience a hot time for awhile.

...we liked each other from our first meeting..so, there’s a pretty passionate kiss, tongues probing..and after about 15 seconds, my lips and tongue BEGIN TO BURN...

On our third date I took my now wife of 32 years to a great Mexican joint. Afterwords and without thinking she hit me with a deep kiss and her eyes got a bit big when the peppers I had eaten started reacting on her tongue.

I got a big laugh but she was not so appreciative.

I grow different kinds of hot peppers, some hotter than others. The Tiny little White Habaneros are at the top of the hot scale. We are addicted and I put them in just about everything. It is a nice plus to finally hear about a food we love that is not evil.
