Monsanto posts larger-than-expected 4Q loss

Agriculture business giant Monsanto Co. reported a wider-than-expected loss Wednesday for its fourth quarter on higher expenses, including a one-time legal settlement.

The company’s earnings forecast for 2015 also fell short of analysts’ expectations as Monsanto said it expects “continued industry headwinds.” […]

".. genetically-engineered seeds.." which are rejected, as are the crops produced, by the European Union , and Russia .

I’m not worried about the opinion of our socialist enemies. Of course, since Obama supports Monsanto to a degree, this is more socialist duplicity.

Ran into an old acquaintance who is now a geneticist specializing in crops (not a Monsanto employee)

His take is that people are starving needlessly because of the EU embargo on a particular GM strain of rice.
