Rational discussions about National Socialism are often hard to come by. The word Nazi has become a vitriolic buzzword that only the Left has a license to use, especially against conservatives where many on the so-called political right are metaphorically and wrongfully characterized as present day fascists. All too many have since precluded that Nazism was a right wing Christian racist capitalist movement of some sort, even though the very name, the National Socialist Workers Party, betrays that presumption ...

Nazi-ism was anything but Christian.
A significant percentage of the concentration camps were populated with devout believers in Christ.
Christian doctrine was more than frowned upon by the Nazis.
I happened to be touring at Oxford University in England on Earth Day in 1992. That morning, the Telegraph had printed a piece pointing out the green roots of Nazism and of Hitler. I went into a book store and there were two stereotypical college Marxists, hair over their ears, wire rimmed glasses, etc. One said to the other, “the first thing we do after the revolution is to kill all the environmentalists.”
I wanted to reply “Why wait?” But I pointed out that I had heard that Hitler was an environmentalist, to which they agreed. I paid for some Oxford tee shirts and left. My philosophy is that if you see all your enemies standing in the same puddle of gasoline, throw in a match and get out of the way.
Good post.
I was observing this morning that after WWII, National Socialism, especially any variation of the NAZI party had fairly well been eliminated in the west, other than perhaps some social orders in South America. Not only had it been eradicated, it was heavily stigmatized throughout the world.
Observing it’s unnatural return indicates there is something associated in the spiritual domain and spiritual warfare with this malaise.
IMHO, those who give it credence, have simply become absorbed in demonic influence and demonic strategy. The more they dwell in it, the further they degenerate.
NAZIism is about power. Environmentalism is just another way to gain power. Look at the loons at environazi blogs. They are all for mass human extermination and murdering people that disagree with their radical beliefs which they justify by “saving the planet.” Hitler was just “saving the aryan race” what could be more important than saving the entire planet???
The parallels are eerie.
exactly
Germany was shutting down churches, kicking preachers and priests out of their parsonages, banning nuns from hospitals and replacing them with “NAZI Sisters”, replaced private and religious charities with a state welfare agency etc etc
Hitler was a pantheist. When he said “God” most people were thinking of the Judeo-Christian God, but the Fuhrer was thinking of Nature and himself as well since he was on top of the German pantheist totem pole (to use the author’s words) ...
Indeed. I agree.
Yes, the author states that the Nazis used existentialism to emphasize their “will to power.”
Yes, they are ...
Thanks for the link to the article. The author has quite an extensive discussion on this very thing, yet with much detail as he outlines that Baalism was a form of what we would call environmentalism BC - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DRzguofNq7I.
