I loved the book and movie. Marie Killilea, author of Karen and With Love from Karen lived across the street from PDETD’s author, Jean Kerr..

Is there a place where you watch these movies or is that a secret?

I was watching the TV series in repeats in the early 70’s. “To date, it is the earliest television series in which the entire cast still survives.” http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Please_Don%27t_Eat_the_Daisies_(TV_series)

You might want to check out “Critic’s Choice”(1963). It’s a very similar movie with Bob Hope as the drama critic and Lucille Ball as his aspiring playwright wife.
