I fully expect the explosion to flow outward from the exclusively black areas when they decide to grab up some of the goodies that "whitey" has been denying them for all these years. They have been spoon fed the dogma that whitey is the root cause of all their misery, community organizers will spread the word "now it's your time".

This is creeping destruction of the country. Notice how your life has changed, if it has, in the past seven years. How many freedoms have you lost? How much different do you managed your life now as opposed to then?
Do you have the same freedom of speech as you did seven years ago? Have you changed your buying habits and why if you have? Does your money now buy less than seven years ago? Are you saving more or less money for the future?
Are you content with life or worried about the future? What worries you about the future, if anything? Are you keeping closer tabs on your kids than seven years ago?
In my opinion, we are creeping, bit by bit, to ruination (the action or process of causing so much damage to something that it no longer exists or cannot be repaired.
Notice I didn't mention prepping - darn, I just did. Prepare as much as you can for living independently of public utilities and what's in the grocery store - just in case there is a major emergency. It is at this time of year I would make sure I was prepared for a hurricane, to do without power for several weeks. No power in the area means no gasoline, closed stores including drug stores, and possible loss of water in the faucet.

Before I was born, the New Deal was ushered in, and that was it turns out a big event that sent us down a path that has led to/contributed to our financial mess.
During the Clinton administration, the rules on Federal Home loan subsidies were changed so that irresponsible lending practices were actually encouraged. This lend to the difficulty with Fannie and Freddie and contributed further to our dire financial situation.
Before that though, we had the big change with Johnson's war on poverty. The agencies actually went out into the Ozark hills to find as many people as they could to sign up for welfare. It helped create a climate that encouraged unwed mothers. Further destroying morals and helping to create more financial problems.
Don't even want to think about all the crap from Carter and now Obama. I feel like I went to sleep one night and woke up in a bizarre world right in the middle of a war zone, where society makes as much sense as the mad hatter and the queen in Alice In Wonderland.
I have done what I can afford to do, and will continue trying to make sure that I am getting more and more self sufficient and able to weather whatever happens. Something evil our way comes of this I am sure, because we have horrible and irrational enemies, and so many have turned their back on God, in favor of debauchery.
Also, there is no political will to deal effectively with our financial situation nor to oppose Obama’s unconstitutional and damaging policies. We might slowly throw some ice cubes in the pot, and incrementally get back to a constitutional Republic, but I doubt that we can turn back time as quickly as we need to implement changes big enough to prevent disaster.
The only reason we haven't lost reserve currency status, is that so much of the world is worse off than we are - thanks to those socialist policies they have been following for years.
Things in our county and little rural town have not changed much at all. However, I am sure that everyone in the
USA has probably broken the law several times before lunch on a daily basis, and just don't realize it.
So around here they just keep on doing what they've always done, and no one pays much attention. Well that's how I feel tonight anyway. Sorry to be a Debbie downer.

It is incumbent upon us to teach them. The Liberal agenda has infected our schools...but not our homes. Not that they don't try. But for now, we are free to stand up and tell them to piss off.
Proper education begins at home. It is probably the last weapon that we Conservatives have in that fight. Use it well.

The real problem is people think they are well informed and they are not. They say we have a 24x7 news cycle but we do not. The reality is that we have a Mon-Thurs 9 to 5 EST and Friday 9 AM to noonish news cycle. Anything that happens outside of those times is likely to be misidentified and not reported.
One needs to be aware of events to watch for. One example is a major grid down that lasts more than 3 days. These are discussed on several sites, notably Survivalblog. The proof is left as an exercise for the reader. You need to become familiar with some alternate news source that is fast, accurate and trustworthy and keep up to date.
They all work for 'Team Satan'...so does the media...and most educrats.
