If his inner man had kicked in, then no. However I have seen plenty of fights where that second punch is reflex. I’m sure you’ve seen it to in the gag videos where someone jumps out and scares the other person.
That fight or flight instinct is strong, and some people aren’t hardwired for flight.
That said, no he shouldn’t have punched her. When I first saw it I thought he open palm slapped her. If he had done that...I might give him a pass.
Who cares, no 6'1", 200 lb. man punches out a female in a bar, no matter what the circumstances..........

Other than the vague video which clearly shows her getting punched out by a 6'1", 200 lb. minor in a bar, any attempt to determine what the female's actions truly were are purely conjecture and wouldn't hold up in a court of law.

Like I said when I attended there were no DeAndres. Hence no problems. Sad to see how its devolved over time and there is one reason for it which I won’t expound on as that would be racist. :-)
Well Jane Long I’m going to tell you a story, and you may not like me afterwards. I understand if that’s the case with anyone who reads this.
My ex-wife and I went to see Molly Hatchett back in 84 or 85. I was back stage with the band part of the night for various reasons.
Meanwhile the little woman has an open tab at the bar, and proceeds to get plowed. The more drunk she gets the more angry she gets at me for not standing beside her.
I came out for last 2 songs, and we left. She fumed all the way home, and for 30 minutes after we got there. Then all of a sudden she wanted to have sex.
I was tired. I had worked a full shift at the bar, and gone to a concert, partook in some non legal, ahem, activities, and had a few drinks. I told her this, but seriously I was afraid she was going to puke on me.
We laid down on the bed assuming we were going to sleep. Next thing I know I’m being hit, in the head, in the face, she’s wind milling. I get control of her arms, tell her to stop and pass out.
Evidently she didn’t like that idea either. She gets up leaves the room (honestly, I thought she was going to puke).
Next thing I see her come through the door with the largest knife we have. I got out of bed in time, she slashed at me a couple of times (I’ve still got scars from this night) but I managed to pin her to the floor, and immobilize her and the knife. I moved up, put my knees on her shoulders so I could take the knife away, and that’s when she lifted her head, and bit me so hard on the inside of my thigh she brought blood. I pinched her nose so she couldn’t breathe, and she let go. I drew back and slapped her open handed, and knocked her out.
When she came to, she called the cops and told them I was hitting her. I did nothing. She went outside and waited for the cops. I did nothing. She gets to tell the cops her story first, whatever that was. Finally a female cop comes in ready to arrest me, sees me sitting there covered in blood, my blood, spins walks out the door, and puts her in handcuffs.
I was 6’ 240lbs she was 5’1” 120lbs soaking wet.
Was I wrong?
I was raised as a gentleman. Don’t ever hit a woman, I was taught. When someone’s biting a chunk out of the inside of your thigh, you forget about that. Your mind says make it stop, and don’t let it happen again.
Anybody can hurt anybody. We guys try to step back from it but sometimes the women wont let us.
I’ve told every woman I’ve dated since, including Mrs rikkir that I would never hit them in anger, as long as they never put themselves in that position to inflict pain like that on me. 27years and counting.
Open hand slap across the face ends it. The guy knows it’s coming because he put his hands on her first. If he doesn’t accept this fact he goes to jail for battery, and sexual battery.
I saw no evidence of that in this video.

Remember you don’t know the whole story, be very careful what assume about people until you do.
