The other day a white man referred to Lt Col Allen West's Conservatism as "Stockholm Syndrome." It seems that some white liberals believe a Black man cannot choose his own philosophies and therefore these particular people are the property of the Democratic party.
Do you find the concept of the Liberal/"progressive"/Democratic Party owning a particular race of people disturbing? I most certainly do!
I'll never be "property." I find myself disgusted by those who chose "benevolent bondage" over dangerous liberty. I feel hostility towards those who would usurp the freedom and autonomy of those who would choose liberty.

That's like asking if I find the sting of a scorpion disturbing. It hurts and is poisonous, but scorpion's sting, it's their nature.
The cognitive makeup that leads to the illogical and destructive set of values liberals believe they came up with themselves (actually they were absorbed by osmosis/identification with a group), means that being unaware that you believe you own people is natural.
The scorpion doesn't know it stings. It just does 'this thing it does.' If you could ask a scorpion 'do you hurt things, do you sting things' it would answer "I'm disturbed you asked, I only go about my business, never hurt or stung anything." It will answer this way even as it is stinging you.
This is why liberalism is often called a mental disorder. It's probably just a genetic tendency to follow while believing you chose your coarse, and demand others do the same, so they don't know that all they do is follow. If you're not following along with them, in the captive line they believe is freedom, then, almost hilariously, you must be a captive of someone.
It's totally bizarre and foreign to anyone who actually does construct their own conclusions using empirical evidence, principle, history and reason. You'll never understand them for the same reason you have no idea what it's like to be a scorpion and the scorpion has no idea it stings or what it's like to be stung by a scorpion.
Liberals simply choose to follow without knowing they chose it. Anyone else is, obviously to them, a follower, because they know that they are the only ones who don't follow, so everyone else must be following. It's whacky to get your head around, like trying to put your head in your butt so far it comes out your mouth. It doesn't compute. And yet - there they are, scorpions sure that they are lions, and that all other living beings are scorpions.
The race most owned by liberals, by the way, is the white race.
