For the first time in my life of fifty-one years, I still haven't received my tax refund because of the Obamacare portion of my taxes. I waited two hours on the phone in early September to finally talk to an IRS agent, only to be told I should give my situation another 60 days because the agency is so overwhelmed with Obamacare crap they are trying to process.
Isnt socialism great?
These days..... I make it a point to owe them instead of them owing me.
The government is too much a part of our lives.

Do they know that you’re an undocumented transgender immigrant on food stamps being discriminated against by your employer who lives in a bad part of town because this country’s racist past has prevented your people from accumulating the wealth necessary to move to a nice neighborhood? Not to mention...how you can be expected to feed your eight children by different spouses without this check?
I’ll bet if you stopped being proud and simply provided these details, your check would arrive the next day.
We are a good wholesome Christian and conservative family. We follow the, ‘Good follows good’ rule. I just want what is right and my credit score is 843 because I never take advantage of anyone.

I figured as much. Just trying to point out that I think our government gives our taxes away to people that fit into certain groups and exclude those that actually live their lives correctly and are stand-up citizens.
I don’t have any answers for you besides prayer and keep looking for work. It may mean a significant move/pay cut/pride adjustment, but you got to do what you’ve got to do. Good luck to you FReeper

Think you got screwed? Wife’s premium went from $250 to $750 and she still has years before she qualifies for Medicare. Meanwhile I’ve been retired (involuntarily) for six plus years and we live on less than 25% of our previous income. I can tell you the extra $6,000 a year hurts.
Late and soon, taxing and spending, they lay waste our powers.

thats a really good idea. it puts some pressure on them to hep. go to your local media if this gets nowhere because then your critter will suddenly get more interested in righting your wrong.

#7 My sister complained to her congressman when her supplemental pay for food $80 was cut. She is on SSI. She called the state office but was given the go around so she contacted Al Franken office (vote fraud, crook) but he must have done something because she got the money back.
