An extraordinary Chicken Sandwich:
Grilled Chick Breast (yes, it's grilling season here with mid to upper 70's). Coat in your favorite seasoned salt and grill HOT for 6-7mins each side.
Ezekiel or some other very dense/hearty sprouted grain bread.
Seasoned Mayo (Mayo, finely minced rosemary, chopped chives, black pepper, all to taste).
Organic mixed greens.
Kettle Backyard BBQ Chips (don't eat the whole bag!)
A fine Munich Marzen or Vienna Lager.

It’s around 75 in our area, & we’ll be having T-bone steaks off the grill. It’s so nice to have a warm, sunny day!

Sounds tasty, but that sounds like a lot of work for a sandwich. Who cleans up after you?

Yesterday was the first really warm spring day here in southern MA. Today was a bit cooler (mid 60s) and raining/drizzling all day -- April Showers bring May Flowers and all that. It would put me in the mood to go visit Plimouth Plantation, if it hadn't been taken over by self-righteous libs and white guys pretentiously pontificating on the wrongs done to "their people," the Wampanoag.

Too windy and cool in upper Illinois. Making muffelleta sandwiches inside.

    "Who cleans up after you?"

I live alone, clean up after myself and have been an aspiring culinary artist for 50 years.
Oh, and I regularly eat from a can too:)
But only the BEST lol

I just finished baked salmon with herbed butters. Butter lettuce salad and ginger lentil rice mixed with punjab eggplant. We generally have fish on Fridays.

What do you dress the salad with and how do you season the rice?

Sounds yummy! We had salads tonight. Yes, our 7, 4, and 2 year olds eat salad. Romain, spinach from the garden, chick peas, chopped walnuts, cucumber, and red pepper. All organic, of course. I'm vegan, but everybody else had cheese on theirs as well.

Baltimore shrimp tonight due to rain.
Shrimp, sliced onion, Oldbay spice. Combine ingredients and steam for 4-5 minutes. Dump into, say, a quart of melted butter and eat with adult beverages.

    Uber-cheap steaks
Take one ‘Manager’s Special’ Chuck roast and cut it into steak sized pieces.
Rub with black pepper, chipotle seasoning and a few dashes of worsechestechestchestashire sauce.
Toss on the grill till a bit shy of medium.

We had a red pepper we cut up, pickled cauliflower and feta cheese is added. My wife prefers ranch dressing and I the more pungent Blue Cheese.
