Trump recently tweeted, Nobody has more respect for women than Donald Trump! This is hard to believe. More than 3 million people have seen the anti-Trump ad in which women repeat real quotes about women from Donald Trump, such as bimbo and fat pig. Trump described Megyn Kelly as having blood coming out of her wherever and mocked Carly Fiorinas appearance by saying, Look at that face. He tweeted a picture of Melania Trump next to Heidi Cruz, as if potential first ladies are contestants in a Miss Universe pageant. And when asked whether women should be punished in the event that abortion became illegal, he suggested that they should be.
Women arent amused. Seven out of ten women (67 percent) have an unfavorable view of Trump, and only 26 percent view him favorably, according to a national Quinnipiac survey from late March. Other polls have his unfavorability ratings among women even higher, at 74 percent.
Cruz has capitalized on Trumps missteps by not making similar misogynist gaffes (admittedly, this is a low bar). He also recently hosted an event The Celebration of Strong Women in Madison, Wis., featuring his wife, his mother, and none other than former competitor Carly Fiorina. All issues are womens issues, said Cruz, in one of his most humanizing events of the campaign.
This is a very encouraging development, but Cruz too has a steep hill to climb with women voters. Three in ten women surveyed had a favorable view of Cruz (29 percent) and nearly half had an unfavorable view of him (46 percent), according to the same Quinnipiac survey from late March.
Not that the GOPs leading candidates do particularly well with male voters.

About 'women' or about a 'woman'?
I think these 'quotes' were VERY specific in their targets and NOT women in general; as the anti-Trump forces would like to portray them.
Then it should be interesting when Trump and Hillary (no true 'lady' herself) finally square off.
Really. Still, most of the MSM — not just NR — very often is harping on the “fact” that he’s a misogynist. It’s far from the truth but he doesn’t respond. I wish he would.
People really, really dislike National Review.
But I think you really mean Ma Kettle!

The whole point of the bullying never trump blacklisters is to isolate Trump and make people afraid to support him.
All the women I know will vote for Trump - except for my daughter at Georgetown, my daughter at Columbia and my daughter at Andover. But I’m working on them.
They're women who don't want to offend their gaggle. When they get to the privacy of voting, a the vast majority of women will vote for the Alpha male.
hmmmm....maybe that's part of the problem with caucuses and other schemes to control voters.
So Cruz’s favorability rating among women is nearly identical to Trump’s.
Trump has a higher unfavorability rating. You thing Cruz’s would be any better after national ad campaigns have been launched to attack him? I doubt it.
These sorts of pieces are meaningless tripe.
Once the general campaign begins we’ll see where all these numbers play out... Right now Trump is the only player taking attacks from all sides. When it’s finally down to a real binary decision, not a hypothetical we’ll see how it plays.
Hillary spent her lifetime enabling and covering up for a rapist. She has attacked and and blamed the victims. Trump won’t hold back on that topic if that’s how they want to campaign.
Abby McCloskey really, really dislikes Trump.
“True that, But Trumps Achilles heel is definitely his mouth.’”
That and he has a tendency to come across as proud as a dog with two dicks
Please remember I am a Trump supporter before flaming me. The Donald could tone it down a bit
Strategically, he needs that demonstration against Hillary. To use it now is to waste its power.
I am assuming that the women who were involved are willing to become political spokesfolk, of course.
Sounds like something Trump would say. Hence is low approval ratings. I mean Trump’s even losing married women, which is a demographic that the GOP has owned for a long time.
Three daughters in school! Good for you! I can’t imagine what those tuition payments are like.
Liberal institutions fill the heads of their students with non-stop propaganda about global warming, income inequality and the evils of capitalism.
If you have any success converting them to Trump, be sure to warn them to keep their views to themselves. Liberals are very intolerant.
Not as much as men really, really dislike Hillary Clinton.
I support Trump, and most of the women I know support him too.
THIS woman loves Donald and every thing he stands for
And Hillary is a shrill self serving corrupt unlikable bitch.
Given the choice, particularly when it comes to questions around leadership, the arrogant arsehole wins every time.
No, schmuck, I meant Marjorie Main in almost any role.
Can’t you ever take off the giant fonts? Or are you too dumb?
