2016 09 02 FReeper Display of Arms and Bearers *Thread*
FReeper Gun Club (this article) | 9/2 | Red Fox (self/vanity)

THIS - IS - IT. If America falls to global communism in the next few months it will be one thousand years of darkness before anybody experiences any kind of freedom again. Don't let it come to this. Don't retreat to your bolt hole to wait out the next millennium. Come out now and stand together to defend the natural human rights of self expression and self defense.

I offer this monthly proof of civilian weapons training as reassurance that I will come to your defense against violent rioters, revolutionaries, foreign invaders and hostile governments when called on.

FReeper Display of Arms and Bearers is a monthly online demonstration against violence, government corruption and tyranny. The only method and goal are the exercise and defense of natural, unalienable human rights. Buy guns and ammo. Display your defense training here once a month. Commit to visit your local shooting range once a month and upload pictures or videos of your target practice on this monthly thread. If you want to keep your identity or specific weapon make unknown, then only photograph your target results noting the date, distance and general weapon type - rifle, handgun, bow and arrow, sling shot, etc. If you want your photos scrubbed or photoshopped to prevent tracking, email them to me and I will print screen copy them and delete the originals. If you can not upload pictures and videos, email them to FReeper Display of Arms and Bearers @ ConservativeImage.com (no spaces) and I will host them for you. Ask your neighbors if they would like to come to the shooting range with you. Talk with them about civilian alert and surveillance systems you can put in place in your neighborhood to come to each other's aid and upload any confrontations to the internet to be viewed by the public.

RULES:

- This is not a jokes board. Contributing proof that gun owners have training, discipline and self restraint on the internet goes a long way in advocating 2nd amt rights. For the love of God, for the sake of self defense rights, do not make dumb jokes that portray gun owners as drunk, incompetent boobs on boats. Please disarm gun haters by participating in this monthly thread with all seriousness, safety and sobriety. Do not post photos of yourself making faces or wearing costumes. Don't horseplay with guns.

- Do not publish personal information such as last names, email addresses, phone numbers, serial numbers, license plates, home addresses, etc. Use private email to arrange meetings with other members. Posting first name and general location is acceptable.

- Do not use targets that could be perceived by viewers as a threat to a living person or group.

- One month recent photo only. Please try to date stamp for the record. - Selfies are good. Larger group photos are better and send a stronger message.

- Guns are for defense only. Civilians do not take law into their own hands. A deadly weapon may only be used to prevent the loss of life, liberty or property or for the purposes of target practice or hunting.

I did checks on two of my carry pieces earlier this evening, Rugers, an LC9 and SR9. Hornady Critical Defense loads.
And then a tumbler of scotch.

God bless America and to the Underworld with the Democrats.

FYI, Sportsmans Guide has Dutch surplus suspenders that hook on belt loops, if yer britches is droopin’.
Go Trump, win win win.

Nice eye spotting my saggy pants. Those are my fat pants and they don't fit well, especially after hiking up and down that hill ten times. I've gained weight driving 18 wheelers and normally just wear shorts. This is the first time wearing pants since I had to throw snow chains on.

Your comment about the scotch really made my day! Thanks for sharing.

I went through a period of extreme financial difficulty in the late 80s and had to sell most of a large collection.

This is one I will hang onto. It is not as well finished as the early DWM, Ludwig Loewe, etc. Mausers but is still well made. It has an odd mid length action but it is long enough to handle 8X57 Mauser. I paid $100, and the dealer gave me a bandolier of 200 rounds of corrosive ammo for free.

Walmart Perry suspenders that clip onto your belt are good, but they’re made of polyester and chafe my sensitive nipples.
Yeah, an IWB 1911 and Springfield XDS in the left pocket is kind of a drag on the old suspension, makin’ a livin the old hard way.
The Dutch suspenders are made of cotton, so I’m hoping they don’t. It makes my wife nervous watching me rub lotion all over my body ....

“Your comment about the scotch ... “
I have an intimate conversation with Johnny Walker every six months or so.

Is that a Persian crest? I had one, but not with such a nice finish...

No it is a Yugoslavian Mauser made on FN machinery.

I would rather have a Persian Mauser but the Yugo is totally serviceable.

I have around 20 boxes of Lapua Match for the Swedish Mauser. Also maybe that many assorted Norma. Some of the Norma is 156 grain round nose soft point. The rest is 139 grain spitzer.

Again I have only a single Swedish Mauser. I used to have at least 9.

Mausers from wherever are top shelf battle rifles. Imagine if they were semi-auto... Ow!

You would have an AR. I well take a AR over a bolt gun percent of the time for self-defense.

I think some of the engineers from Mauser-Werke ended up developing the CETME / H&K roller-locked rifles.

I have an old Universal carbine with 2-30 round mags taped together. Also, they are sporting the prerequsite Chiquita banana stickers. :)

I think I bought the last gun last week I’ll ever personally buy ever again.

I’d been looking for about 7-8 years for a match to my little Beretta Model 87 22LR (an all steel mini-clone of a Beretta 92). Such a sweet little shooter and with the extra threaded barrel I have for it with my AAC suppressor, just REALLY sweet. I love it, and now I have two! It’s a damned pricey gun and Beretta doesn’t build many of them, but I got lucky again.

Regardless, it completes what I’ve wanted and think I am done now.
