We are well aware that some may be offended by these images and for that we are truly sorry, but it is time that the non drug using public sees what we are now dealing with on a daily basis," the post continued. "The poison known as heroin has taken a strong grip on many communities not just ours, the difference is we are willing to fight this problem until its gone and if that means we offend a few people along the way we are prepared to deal with that."
Police were alerted to the vehicle when an officer saw a Ford Explorer driving erratically and then slamming on the brakes as it approached a stopped school bus that was dropping kids off, the police report states.
...
EMS responded and administered Narcan, a drug used to reverse the effects of a heroin overdose.

Take the damned druggies out back and shoot, shovel & shut up. Place the child with a God-fearing loving family. < /rant >
Main lining elephant tranquilizers again?
Remove the child from what ever custodial arrangement is in effect here. Keep him away from them...I doubt they clean up voluntarily so sever parental rights this child has the right to life liberty an the pursuit of happiness without moron drug induced parent types around.//end of rant..thank you for listening.
But ... it’s a victimless crime.
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office (Cincinnati) has stated that heroin providers are using Cincinnati as a testing/distribution point for new strains because of the proximity to so many metropolitan areas and the confluence of major highways intersecting the region.
Within 300 miles of Cincinnati, on major freeways, lie Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Toledo, Indianapolis, Louisville, Nashville, Lexington, Knoxville and Columbus. So it’s a convenient place for the bad guys to meet and deal.
That is why Cincinnati has become the heroin overdose/junkie capital of the Midwest.
Everything would be fine if only heroin were legal.
History says that China once had a major opium problem.
The government knew full well it needed to be stopped, and soon. Anyone caught using and/or selling was shot on the spot.
It wasn’t long before China didn’t have an opium problem anymore.
Draconian as it sounds, those may be our only choices.
The problem is that police departments everywhere are starting to carry Narcan, and the dope fiends are either using up 2 or 3 doses of it to wake up, or they are overcoming it completely by using heroin cut with fentanyl. Or carfentanyl, an opoid used to sedate elephants.
Drug enforcement is not stopping this, especially with lackluster enthusiasm by the current administration. Better not prosecute dopedealers of “protected” status, or you will accused of engaging in racial oppression.
All of these things translate to huge costs on the taxpayers.
But ... its a victimless crime.
Yeah...on SO many levels. Besides this poor child’s situation...I’m sure these folks worked hard to earn the money they spent on these drugs. /s
A close relative works with heroin addicts, and I have known a few. When they are using, they have completely lost their humanity - there is literally NOTHING they will not do for their next hit. They lie, they steal, they cheat
IMHO, users are not to be pitied. They will just use that pity against you.
Damn SUVs.

We’re heroin legal these two would have died before they could reproduce.
The Philippines is taking that approach. Many people (here) are horrified.
I’ll tell you something which I really don’t think is a crazy idea (many people absolutely want to shoot me for saying this):
If the police were to seize heroin (as they often do) and then adulterate it with a slow-acting fatal poison and then put it out on the street for sale, in 4-6 months a large percentage of junkies would be dead. And other people would stop using (get treatment) because heroin would be no better than Russian roulette.
I believe we could eliminate the opioid crisis in about a year and then, for decades into the future, millions and millions of lives would be better.
But we won’t do that, because we are not an inhumane society.
As is drinking alcohol.
“...a Ford Explorer driving erratically and then slamming on the brakes as it approached a stopped school bus...”
Damned Ford SUVs!
Feed em to the hogs.
Good rant, JimRed.
I know it sounds inhumane and neanderthal and all that, but for a nation it eventually becomes a question of survival.
And it may be easy for me to say because neither I nor anyone I know does heroin. But that doesn’t change the gravity of the situation.
Unfortunately today’s USA is riddled with communists and globalists that want nothing more than to have America bow to the NWO. A strung-out and addicted people is a sure fire way to get it done.
