NASACAR is just another opiate for the masses.
I finally saw the picture and it reminded me of my own parents. Hopefully the children end up in better homes than they’ve had with these two idiots.
I don’t see a problem with what you said because a lot of these drugs are already a slow death. To some extent your idea is even merciful.
Only if they can take their bongs along.
Sports are the opiate of the inebriate.
Poor kid. How many times b4 has the little one witnessed that crap ?
Once was too many
ABUSE of alcohol. The difference is I can have a drink and not be impaired. Or addicted. I cannot do heroin even once without being completely wasted and becoming addicted. If you can’t see a difference between people who use alcohol in moderation and the pure evil that is heroin then I don’t know what to tell you.
“Or is it wrong to inject logic into a legalization-bashing fest such as this?”
Evidence, please.
Oh come on, she was OD'ing on heroin, is a seat belt ticket really necessary?
So, you okay with the thousands of people killed by drunk drivers every year just because they weren’t using heroin?
“Anyone caught using and/or selling was shot on the spot.”
Sure, and anyone else the government didn’t like could also be shot as long as the government made sure to plant some drugs on them.
I fought for over 3 years to get my grandchild removed from her parents custody. CPS finally listened and placed her with a maternal aunt. Unfortunately, laws still provide the parents with input and little punishment. Since they have objected, I have not seen her in over a year. They were not always junkies. He had a great job with a major construction equipment manufacturer. She was going to college. What makes a hard working, normal person turn into a junkie? I don’t know. I do know my son is a shell of his former self. No hope, no ambition, drifting from day to day. He gave up on all religious beliefs. Demons? He is already dead inside. I expect that call or knock on the door. But I don’t regret trying to save the life of a child. Even knowing that I may not see her for a long time, I would do it all over again.
Evidence that this is a ‘legalization-bashing fest’.
I see this as mere discussion. Just was wondering where you are seeing it differently.
That could happen for sure. And it may well have.
But this decision was not politically or ideologically based - it was seen as the only way to avoid ruin.
Do you think governments that want to do away with someone won’t do it regardless? Do you think they wait until they have found a legitimate ‘excuse’?
Very scary story. And sad.
That child may well come up to you and thank you some day for saving her life - if not saving it literally, then figuratively for sure.
You can see the officer’s arm in the photo reaching in the window to take the woman’s pulse on her neck.
Overdosing isn’t the only hazard of heroin use.
Gangrene from shooting up repeatedly in putrified veins, often requiring amputation, is common among addicts
Constipation so severe the colon bursts, resulting in septicemia is still another.
Oh, but the high is totally worth it. /s
If only they had bought a Tesla with Autopilot, all this would have been avoided. #;^)
