STERLING, Va — Authorities at a Virginia airport encountered some unusual baggage when they confiscated 13 pounds of horse genitals and a total of 42 pounds of horsemeat from two women arriving from Mongolia Jan. 29.
The two women landed at the Washington Dulles International Airport last month when authorities discovered the meat concealed inside juice boxes, a release from US Customs and Border Protection said.
When the women landed, the release said the women were forwarded for a routine agriculture examination. During the examination, agriculture specialists found a combined 42 pounds of meat described as "horsemeat and other ruminant meat, including 13 pounds of horse genitals, and three liters of yak milk."
The women told authorities the horse genitals were for "medicinal purposes."
The discovery rivaled other finds -- "from charred full monkeys, to voodoo ceremony tools, to cocaine concealed inside the cavity of fully cooked chickens, to live sea horses and giant African land snails," the release described.
Authorities said horsemeat is prohibited from entering the US "if it is not accompanied by an official government horsemeat certification from the country or government it originates."
CBP incinerated the food products and declined to bring criminal charges against the women.

Actually, in the rest of the world, horse meat is a readily available staple.
The only reason these ladies couldn’t bring it into our country was that it had not been inspected and approved for export by the Mongolian government..............
Forget about the horse meat....what about the 40 lbs of horse GENITALIA??? is THAT civilized??
They did not try to hide or evade the meats or yak milk. They readily submitted for routine agricultural inspection.
I know a lady who brought and orange from overseas with her back to the USA. When she landed in NY they confiscated it.
The problem is no outside foodstuffs that haven’t been passed government inspections can be let into this country for reasons of agricultural diseases......................
Have you never eaten hot dogs, bologna, salami, potted meat, sausages of any kind?...........What do you think they put in it?...............

I know where they were destined to end up. They were on their way to the RNC to fortify the eunuchs in Congress.
I’m sure they will try to claim some cultural right but they obviously knew it was illegal based upon the level of concealment of the horse meat.
