...and there’s the reason I refused to watch ‘Die Hard’ for many years because I knew Bruce Willis was in it...

I’m beginning to think it was rigged #FakeAwards!

The real winner was probably that Lala Land film but someone higher up decided to bow to political correctness and cut off any future rumblings from the you-know-who crowd by giving it to a POC film maker/cast. The switch-up was likely a nod to this without coming out and admitting it which they obviously couldn’t do.

Nebraska. What was that, 2 years ago? Finally found it in the pawn shop, and Hollywood gets not a cent of my $2.

Faye Dunaway was getting embarrassed by him (and maybe due to his Alzheimer’s) so she just blurted out LaLaLand. It wasn’t either of their faults.

How can you not blame her? She could have said, "It appears we have the wrong envelope."

Back in the day Kimmel and Sarah Silverman were an item but Silverman publicly - and whether seriously or not who knows - stated she had a thing for Damon. Even though he has split from Silverman, Kimmel still takes shots at Damon.

Desmond Doss was an amazing hero. Thought I would hate the movie but just loved it. Great story all around and too American for Hollywierd.

Pray America wakes

Oh... EWWWW. The thought of someone being intimate with Sarah Silverman is disgusting beyond words. Not as bad as the thought of someone being intimate with Hillary... but... oh, damn, I haven’t had breakfast yet.

"Virtue Signaling" is practiced by folks scattered all across the political spectrum. It also occurs in regard to eating at McDonald's or shopping at Walmart.

True... still sad though. I never want to take away someone else's joy. There was a time when Dolli-Cali ran an AMAZING thread on this night. It was great fun.

Now, this is what we get? I bunch of whiners, posers, and even some kind of David Duke racist? Wow... we've come a long way, in the WRONG direction.

I get the political slant on all of it. But, it's not ALL that way. I choose what I want to go see, and what I won't. There are still some good things out available. Hacksaw Ridge, for example, was outstanding. As was Unbroken a few years ago. I loved La La Land this year, and I normally HATE musicals. They seem to be much better when you actually LIKE the music.

What a weird ending to a weird show. Typical, I guess. Since Trump was elected, my wife has been saying: "The WORD OF THE YEAR for 2017 will be: Unprecedented". Hearing it a lot again today. :-)

Very unfair. Beatty did nothing wrong. If he does have dementia, then he did very well indeed with such a travesty.

Honestly, even though she’s bat-sh*t crazy and has a toxic personality I’ve always found her attractive.
