I've never tried to be part of the Christmas decorations. My wife has yet to put away our Costco Nativity displays. I told her yesterday that Jesus called and is ready for his foam box nap. Her Irish wit said that if He is talking to me, I should put him away. Any help out here?

Why don’t you do what she says and put them away?
Offer her praise for her ability to get the job done.
Negotiate. When completed take her to dinner, or if you cook prepare a nice dinner for the two of you to enjoy together.
You might make the suggestion: Let’s complete this job together Take the time while packing away the pieces to talk about what each means to the two of you. If you’ve children old enough, get them involved as well. To pack away Christmas to prepare for the next year is never a joyful event. But it could be an event that members of the family will not forget.
If there is no satisfactory answer - then be a man who doesn’t need a woman to do tasks which anyone can accomplish.
If this is only an opportunity to extend a pity party for months on end - then I sincerely apologize for taking you seriously.

I finally got my tree down the day before Palm Sunday. I was dreading it as they never fit back in the original box.
It makes me feel depressed thinking how much arm and upper body strength some Chinese worker who probably weighs 105 lbs has that he can pick up those tree parts and get them in that box.
And probably does it all day long, too. Darn, now I am depressed thinking about how depressed it makes me feel.
