The Washington National Cathedral on Wednesday said it will remove stained glass windows honoring Confederate generals, saying they act as “a barrier to our important work on racial justice and racial reconciliation.” In a statement, Cathedral leaders said they’ve debated for two years whether to remove the windows honoring Gen. Robert E. Lee and Gen. Thomas “Stonewall” Jackson. That debate concluded Tuesday, and the Cathedral Chapter voted to remove them.

Going by the words of the Cathedral of Social Justice Warriors they need to do a couple of more things. a: Exhume Woodrow Wilson. This racist did more direct harm to African Americans than Lee or Jackson ever did. b: Remove statue of George Washington. We all know he owned slaves. c: Remove Darth Vader gargoyle. The dude murdered billions.

I would guess that would apply to memorials on Federal property, for example, the major battlefields. Since this Den of SJWs is private property they can do whatever they want.

Just how does dishonoring the role models for many generations of American Conservatives, promote racial reconciliation?

Are those speaking for the Cathedral even aware of how the beloved Generals actually treated people of other races? Consider, for example, the fact that Stonewall Jackson taught a Sunday School class for Black children, before the war?

Or consider the fact that Robert E. Lee did more than almost anyone else, North or South, to promote sectional reconciliation during his remaining 5 years, after the War.

This action is precisely the opposite to promoting any form of reconciliation.
