The rate of fire and waveforms match almost exactly. If you have ever used a bump fire you know they are finnicky at best and certainly not capable of firing a perfect 74 round burst as shown in this video.

Saw it on You Tube but after I replied I went back and decided that while the sound is definitely that of a .30 cal I’m now not certain if this wasn’t some sort of dubbed over video.

In 2012 Demolition Ranch did a video of a bump fire stock, it sounded very much like a belt fed weapon. And with a 60 round Surefire mag.

What people are reporting about bump fire stocks being erratic and difficult to run is true when they are fired in a normal range type setting. That is when they are fired horizontally to the ground. However when bump firing either with a stock or without is done at an extreme downward angle (which this was) it's actually VERY easy to get very long and steady rate of fire. The reason for this is fairly simple. The trick to bump fire is pulling the weapon forward with an consistent force to keep the weapon bumping the trigger as it returns from recoil. When the weapon is pointed downward gravity does the work so the rifle is actually just bouncing up and down and activating the trigger.
This is the reason for the nice 500 RPM cyclic rate and the reason the bursts last about 10 seconds. 8-10 rounds per second empties a 100 hundred round Surefire mag in 10 seconds. Then the pause where the shooter takes a breather moves positions picks up a new rifle equipped the same way and repeats the process.
If the shooter actually had a belt fed he likely would have fired bursts lasting much longer than 10 seconds.
This was bump fire just as they are saying.
It can be fed from both linked ammunition and STANAG magazines, like those used in the M16 and M4. This allows the SAW gunner to use a rifleman’s magazines as an emergency source of ammunition in the event that he runs out of linked rounds.

something to consider off the top of my head....if it was an M-60 the spray pattern on people that were hit would be fairly close as opposed to bump fired that would prolly be all over the place....just MHO...
Sounds like the shots at the very first of the clip with the lady in the cab. Those 1st shots sound really close and they really are. Only 300 or so ft straight up, pointing at a down angle. Lots of echos going on.
Definatly a 7.62 but doesnt sound like a 249 or Mag-58. All the ARs are very smooth firing. You can make out once or twice a “crank fire” and you can get those for just about anything. First the girl asks if you can hear the shots and you can just make out what sounds like AR fire. Then after a small break he opens up with a .308 and you can really hear it. Money was no object for the weapons so he could have had a .308 FN or an AR-10.
