SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) — Cities such as San Francisco with some of the highest rents in the nation are also places where renters need to have a high credit score to move in, according to a study released Friday.

The average credit score for people who successfully leased an apartment in 2017 in San Francisco was 724, compared with the nationwide average of 650, according to a study from RentCafe, an internet apartment listing service.

The results are based on tenant screening data from RentGrow, a residential screening service for property owners and managers.

Yet you have the Left-wing activist and Soros front groups always screaming about "affordable housing" and "something must be done" (i.e. more federal tax dollars and redistribution programs meant to "solve" the problem, but instead will exacerbate it more). But do they even realize that the very policies they're supporting are contributing to unaffordable housing and homelessness?

What do SF and CA building codes look like? What type of rules must landlords follow, and how are those rules tipped in favor of the renter and not the landlord?

WOW- San Francisco needs to become a “Renter Sanctuary”. It seems they wok harder to vet working renters than illegal benefit seekers.

Big difference in being activists and advocates for the poor and actually wanting them anywhere near you. This way, you can virtue signal while still keeping your shit from being ripped off.

Have you ever noticed...

the more the politicians talk about affordable housing the less of it there is...

That is _not_ a coincidence.

Watch what they do—ignore what they say.
