This is fake news! He didn’t order a burrito...he simply asked the bank manager for one.
Oh, come on! Like, you guys have never done this!
Reminds me of some security cam footage I saw from a Wendy’s in Albuquerque (I believe it was near Coors and Paseo del Norte). It was closed, and the guy was banging on the door, which activated the alarm. He went away and came back and tried shoving money in through the door, like that would cause food to magically be shoved back out at him.
Yes, he was inebriated.
Man, I hate when that happens, to be wanting a burrito and you are in wrong drive thru.........
Next stop on his route was a toll booth to order some shampoo.
He just got tired.
They felt sorry for you, Mears. Cause your'e OLD.
You guys get away with murder.
Just kiddin', dear lady. Don't hit me with yer whoppin' stick.
:)
“They felt sorry for you, Mears. Cause your’e OLD.”
I would have conked them with one of my old-lady clogs if they didn’t serve me.
NEVER mess with a clog wearer.
Never.
.
No, it's his way of making fun of banks. All that money, they could have some burritos laying around. Just in case. Damn bankster one percenters. See how they keep us down?
Anyway, I tried to use those new kiosks at McDonalds. I always end up kicking them and banging on them when my hamburger doesnt come out!
You go to Mcdonalds?
Peasant.
Only A&W and up for me. I'm upper crust and high society.
Like a boss.
He was arrested for being visibly drunk while driving. The burrito part is irrelevant and is there only for a catchy headline.
I learned that important lesson many years ago in a discotech in Norway. I approached a saucy looking damsel and had the unfortune to make a snide comment about her Land O' Lakes looking two pointed milk maid hat.
She took umbrage, removed her footwear like an angry African American woman who's fries were cold at McDonalds and came at me, clonking me about the cabeza with a wooden shoe. In front of all my friends,no less. It was quite humiliating, and my poor Gulliver swole all up like a Tom and Jerry cartoon.
I will never take a clog wearing woman so lightly again. And especially not a seasoned veteran.
Woe be unto he, who dogs the clog.
It is known.
Must not be a democrat since he did not call 911 when he did not get a burrito.
How can he be arrested when he was clearly NOT driving and was passed out behind the wheel, parked, at the drive thru.
Did you even read the article?
Cmon, man. I could get this guy off in court my damn self.
I'd be all like, "You're out of order! You're out of order! This whole court is out of order! I won't stand here and let you badmouth my country! Gentlemen!"
Yep. Open and shut case.
Better call Bagster.
(pro bono just to stick it to the Oligarch banksters)
Saw a new (to me) scam yesterday. Ordered fast food at the drive-thru and a car swerved over into the lane at the pick up window and claimed my food then drove off.
I am convinced, having visited Florida for several days, that these sort of stories are spread, not because Floridans are especially nutty, but because those Floridans who are not nutty enjoy them. They sure do help with a slow news day, and are a lot more interesting than the exact extent and timing of today’s mega thunderstorm.
I’ve heard of breakfast at Tiffany’s but this is ridiculous!
;^)
Yeah and he left his cash deposit at Taco Bell.
Nice one. I've always fantasized about doing that.
I'd feel their pain more if they were afoot. They can afford gas but can't buy a damn burger.
Thrill gypsies, I say.
It is a judicially recognized fact that just being at the drive up of a Taco Bell after midnight is a presumption of DUI. The same presumption applies to White Castle.
In the ‘70s and ‘80s my family visited Florida almost every Christmas and Easter, driving - not flying, and taking in the various sights in between (Pedro! South of the Border! (Stock up on fire crackers!) Billboards from 100 miles up north...) - down from the D.C. area.
Never had even a whiff of trouble all along the route, or in Florida. Great times. Things seem to have changed since then. Just opining from the more recent reports.
But Oh, those 1 hr thunderstorms. :-) !
