Land Commissioner George P. Bush told the editorial board of Bryan-College-Stations The Eagle that he believes Confederate Heroes Day should not be a Texas state holiday. He said some consider it a slap in the face to celebrate the holiday the same week as Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

No. I like a day off from work in January. “Shoot four more and we’ll get a week off.” The Greaseman
(Im sure youve alerted rock and Mac and x etc to come high five with ya)
If you've got DiogenesLamp here then you don't need them for this thread to go south in a hurry. No pun intended.
When the last Bush is voted out of office, that will be a day to celebrate in Texas. “P” was paid for his dubious Land Commissioner’s job while he was campaigning for his daddy JEB! in 2016. Yes, Texans are really that dumb.
Who cares what Lil P has to say?
want to give the Alamo back to Texas?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I think you meant back to Mexico, and the answer is yes.
I don’t care what he says. I just want him off the national political stage. Like his grandmother said, we’ve had enough Bushes. Let someone else have a chance.
Maybe this undesirable family could move back to Connecticut.
Slap Down Your Woman Day = MLK
Another Bushie Bushwacker hiding in the bushes waiting to ambush the American people.
Scion of a family of assassins and globalists. Why would anyone give this cabal the time of day.
Do you support George P Bush on this?
Let’s have it on the record
The “Commissioner of the Texas General Land Office”, no less. This will not go down well at all with cattle raisers,landholders and other Texas founders of heritage. Even if one could try to say that in some fashion that he is a Texan, anymore than “Jeb!” can say that.
The last vestige of the Bush dynasty exhibits his “roots”— right in line with the new mexican order. Can’t even say he’s a “Texican” cause he’s Jeb!’s son. Unbelievable actually- as he is described (too bad for him) as a “fourth generation elected official from the Bush family”. So would have been a county dog-catcher.
This family will not give up. They push a “real estate investor” and “Navy Reserve” officer into land commissioner and then he hires all the family’s buddies. He is inspired to be a “naval officer” because his grandfather had an aircraft carrier named after him— and he bypassed Naval Academy, NROTC and even OCS, to be frocked an “intelligence” officer after 3 freaking weeks of the Direct Commissioned Officer Indoctrination Course (DCOIC)- consisting of history,customs & courtesy classes and online courses, to be created a Lieutenant in military intel US Navy (rear echelon).
This latest is so typical of the re-writing history element of the GOPe, inclusive of Century 21 and Common Core (which advocates eliminating US history from the Founders until 1880, and crippling generations of math knowledge).
Shut the hell up, Jorge Prescott— you are treading on mexican quicksand. The wall will be built.
Don’t be a boor.
I was in college when the first MLK Day happened. We got that Monday off, but had to go to class on a Saturday to make up for it.
How about the Alamo, Jorge Prescott? Gonna eliminate that part of true Texas history to forget that Santa Anna came from mexico? Gonna re-write that one, to celebrate cinco de mayo and sell off the rest of that warehouse of guacamole bowls your dad has left over?
Borders, Language and Culture, US full military history-— and NOT taliban/Stalinist/revisionist mexican hegemony history. Or are you going to join Aztlan loving La Raza? to uh, get elected?
Yeah I said it.
Sorry, extra typos when I’m pissed.
No.
Lets have it on the record
It is now.
Just when things are seriously going our way, a The Bush Family opens their mouth again.
Don’t they have something better to do?
