Even millennials are getting sick of Instagram.
More than half of users between the ages of 18 and 24 revealed they are “seeking relief from social media,” according to a survey.
The poll, taken in December, found that 34 percent of young users reported having deleted social-media accounts entirely. Forty-one percent of respondents said they waste too much time on social media, and 35 percent agreed that people their age are too distracted by their online lives.
The most popular apps to quit permanently are Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, as well as the dating app Tinder. Snapchat, on the other hand, escaped most teens’ wrath.

I have to confess that I have blocked 3 nephews, and my own son from facebook....I can’t take the caustic political hate speech....
OMG!! So true!! Most all men who reached out to me online were narcissists. After the first one I was wary. Then I realized most men online consistently that post a lot of stuff (mostly pictures of themselves however) were complete narcissists. You said it perfectly!!

I use instagram for fun. My job is very interesting and I have a few followers. But there is definitely a lot of drama on there. One I recently started following is https://www.instagram.com/thegaywhostrayed/ She is a Trump lover.

I call bull on this story. Instagram is taking over the world.
They could go to an malt shoppe and meet people face to face. But then social media killed all those sort of places.

When I was young we walked 10 miles uphill barefoot in the snow to get to social media.
I find it annoying that libs spew vitriol 24/7, but if you say a single thing remotely conservative, or just simply rational, you instantly get unfreinded.
I’ve thought all along that “social media” was just a phase and now that phase appears to be winding down (hooray!). Wonder what will take it’s place?
