American viewers abandon TV nutcases by the millions...so, methinks no "Blue Wave" for the Democrat Party is really in sight. Could it be we are being fed the "Big Brother Media Fake News Routine"? What up, folks out there in the American heertlands?
Destroy the current Democrat Party politcally, get out and vote for all Trump backed candidates in the upcoming Mid-Term elections.
The Left keeps countering with “TV viewership in general is tanking”.
They are not wrong.

I count myself as one of the reasons TV ratings are falling. Hell even the Weather Channel puts out fake news.
The Left, the Media and entertainment conglomerates that they control are rightly perceived by discerning people as absurd and not worthy of their time. Let’s hope there are enough discerning people voting on election day.
I cannot remember the last time I watched network TV outside of some sporting event.
As the reports from the recent Emmys indicate, Hollywood and the Networks hate 60% of Americans and have repeatedly told them of their disdain in show after show. And somehow these dolts expect that we’re supposed to watch your insulting fare?
Why in the world would I watch your “programming” or bring it into my house for my family when you blaspheme my Creator and ridicule my values?

I very rarely watch network TV. Maybe 2 shows, if I think hard.
And haven’t seen NFL for three years, before Trump chimed in.
If you want something totally destroyed, put a Liberal in charge of it.

Interesting point. But, is the left partly responsible for declines in TV viewership? Is that possible, since the left has infected the NFL, these awards shows, networks such as CNN?
Even TV programming in general, with sitcoms pushing liberalism, are infected with leftist themes. Is there a critical mass of leftism which is turning all of us off? That’s a question to ponder.
Ratings should matter to these people, but apparently they don’t. The top people are so insulated they are not dependent on the results.
I’m always amazed when the talking heads on MSM channels act amazed we’re not listening to them. You express hatred for us nonstop. You lie and propagandize your supposed “news” all the time. You set every show in NYC or LA. You make us the butt of every “joke” be it late night comedy shows, SNL, etc. Tou insinuate or just come right out and say we’re stupid and/or are motivated by hate (racism, sexism, xenophobia, trans/Islam/whatever-else-ya-got phobia).......then you wonder why we’ve taken to ignoring you and don’t like you very much either.
For people who claim to be so smart, they sure act quite stupidly.
No. I don't make comments on vanity posts. There was a time when vanities were run out of town on a rail. FreeRepublic has changed and vanities proliferate to the detriment to the elements that made FreeRepublic great.
A good thread starts with posting an article or some content found on the internet, either in full or through a link according to the rules. The poster makes an initial comment, preferably with a full sentence or paragraph and a discussion ensues.
FreeRepubic is great because of these full and robust threads, many of them have become legend, but vanities with a twitter style sentence fragment responses are not legends and never will be. I won't play.
I stream Rangers baseball and Stars hockey and some college football games to my laptop as background while watching other programs on the TV.
I don’t see how baseball stays in business. At both home and away games, the stadiums are half empty. Yet, the Texas Rangers are building a huge new stadium in Arlington. When they have bad seasons, like the last 2 or 3, they barely get 20k to the 40+k seat current stadium.

It may take years or decades, but the Liberals destroy. And them move on.
That's why any excuses made for declining TV viewership is simply a rear-guard action to avoid an overall rout. The MSM know their business better than anyone else, which is why the push is underway for 'net content control.
