My Mom lived just a few blocks up from that main drag when that was filmed. She would have been 13 yeats old at the time. She went to Hollywood HS with classmate Carol Burnett. We lost her three months ago and I sure do miss her.

That video demonstrates why the US is so powerful today. On the day that was filmed, pretty much every other major city outside the US was rubble, or at least pretty seriously damaged.
