Posted on 10/16/2018 4:48:01 AM PDT by JLAGRAYFOX

Here are the official Florida Secretary Of State results for votes cast yesterday in the "Mail-In" vote activity:

Republicans - 202,731 votes cast & recorded. Democrats - 162,881 Votes cast & recorded. Others - 2,465 votes cast & recorded. No Party Affiliation - 77,896 votes recorded. (Independents)

Republicans have increased their "Mail-In" Ballot vote lead by 10,000 votes in one day. Their lead over Democrat Party votes cast now stands at: 39,850 votes.

A trend of voting now favors the Republican heavily....but, it is still early & the early voting is yet to come. We shall soon have a clearer picture to view one way or the other.

Defeat Progressive, Socialist, Communist, Black Racist, Jew & Israel, America Hater Democrat Andrew Gillum and the entire Florida Democrat Party!!! Republican voters, vote & send those "Mail-In" ballots out to be counted & recorded...today!!!

The voter registration database is full of errors .
More than likely that phone number was used by someone to register to vote years ago .
Also voter fraud shows too .
We notified a wife her long deceased husband was still registered to vote .

LOL! Don’t know. We have had our cell number for at least 15 years each and never changed them when we moved west. In any case, they didn’t sway my NV vote. LOL!

I suspect that POTUS, Trump will come to Florida, Texas, Georgia near the end of the campaign, either late October or very early November. Then I see POTUS, Trump really putting the “pedal to the metal” the last two weeks of the campaign, before Election day, scheduling three (3) to five (5) “airport” rally stops per day.

The Democrats will get politically slaughtered in both Texas and Florida and they will lose in Georgia...too!!!

You folks out there in America land have the once in a lifetime chance of politically destroying the entire Democrat Party for many years to come. However...if you sit home and twiddle your toenails, America, the Republic and your freedoms and liberties will die quickly on the vine. Get out, vote or, stand by and watch your precious America die!!!

Are Floridians concerned about the Independents? Does anyone know how they are breaking?

Most of the polls that show Gillum or Nelson winning have independents breaking for the Democrats around 50%/40% with 10% undecided.

The last FL senate poll on Real Clear Politics is a Mason/Dixon poll from 9/24-9/27 that has Nelson up just 1% and has independents 46%/43% for Nelson.

Thank you, So the Independents may cancel out the Republican votes. I sure hope Nelson can be ousted and Desantis can win, too.

Its curious so many people who are non afiliated would be motivated enough to vote early. Without knowing which way these folks are going the story is kind of worthless because if most are going for the Rats then the GOP is actually behind.

Mailed ballots up from about 325k to 425k. Yesterday was a pretty good day for Republicans.

It is early but I think a good sign we are doing well in some of the Dem strongholds like Broward and Palm Beach and at least holding our own in Miami-Dade.

One wonders if illegals don’t check an affiliation box when they register. Republicans need to work harder. Have DeSantis’ ads improved? Sure hope so.

Those old sept polls on Rcp were just pure push poll garbage .
Msny were Online polling garbage .
Using old Rcp averages creates averaged garbage .

The Media has stopped all polling since the Kav hearings in FL .
I think it killed the narrative with the awful poll results .
The FL media is hard left and they hope the Kav impact to wear off .

Yeah I agree some of their methods are crap. All but two of their polls are basically a month old, and they have no polling in October which .. as you mention .. is odd.

Just my amateur take but DeSantis is doing a pretty poor job of getting his message out. It doesn’t help he’s probably not getting much help from the R establishment. At the end of the day I don’t think we elect someone as extreme-left as Gillum, but DeSantis is doing himself no favors with the lack of message IMO.

These databases include other internet sources that make assumptions .
You may want to check your old Fl county election board to see if you are registered or any one in your family .
I found a man dead for twenty years was registered and he could not vote since he was a Irish citizen .

The county office I volunteer in is swamp with volunteers making calls and knocking on doors and people getting signs .

I think the Gillum attack ads and flyers are working here . I think the negativity here is the fact no one can accept we are a very split state . Scott had two very close Gov races . We have too many NE Dem invaders . The new tax laws sent more of here .

Would sure help.

Difference between do you consider yourself an independent or are you registered as an independent?

2 different questions affect any particular poll.

My personal opinion having lived in Florida is that Indies are closet GOP

One key county (Hillsborough):

2016 VBM: D-78,737. R-70,030

2018 VBM: D-15,911. R-15,734

Still early in Hillsborough but tracking better than 2016.

Here’s another important county (Lee):

2016 VBM:. D-41,595. R-81,084

2018 VBM:. D-10,533. R-21,046

We are SLIGHTLY ahead of 2016 pace so far.
