A lesbian couple have been charged with stealing a Pomeranian service dog from a 67-year-old Vietnam veteran, who died from a suspected heart attack just hours before he was to be reunited with his beloved pet.
The Osceola County Sheriff's Office in Florida has announced the arrests of Jennifer Gotschall, 51, and Monique Cosser, 53, on grand theft charges for allegedly abducting Joseph Hanson's dog Kira.
According to the agency, Hanson was taking a walk at Old Town in Kissimmee, Florida, on October 28 with his two Pomeranian service dogs, 21-year-old Kira and 11-year-old Star, when a woman he did not know began yelling and hurling insults at him.
A few minutes later, Hanson realized Kira was gone.
Surveillance video from a business shows another woman behind him unleashing the dog, which weighs just over 6lbs.
Both of Hanson's pups had vests on them indicating they are PTSD service dogs and are not to be petted.
In an interview with ClickOrlando last week, an emotional Hanson said his dogs allow him to function in public and make his life better, and made an appeal for Kira's safe return.

The women are two horrible people, but I don’t see what their lesbianism has to do with the story. What they did would be a tragic sin no matter what their sexuality.

67 y/o is not ancient these days, but having certain experiences in one’s life can age you, can wear you down inside very quickly.
Not everyone will open up to a psychologist or similar counselor. You know that counselor is only there because they’re getting paid. Some in emotional turmoil will embrace any opportunity to vent in a safe place, while others never do allow themselves to really open up. This ‘not opening up’ is how they have protected themselves from negative impacts in the past.
Separate cells please. No dyke activities in the big house for these two.

Pomeranians are the smartest most lovable breed on Earth. They love people and are a perfect breed for PTSD victims. I met one in Mom’s nursing home and it was like it could talk and say “I’m your instant best friend, let’s play and have fun!”. Everyone there got a morale boost from this irrepressible creature.
This is reprehensible beyond belief. I hope the Pomeranian bites the living s*** out of these bitches and escapes. Yes, they can get angry but only as a last resort.

Broken femurs? You’re charitable. I’d blindfold these harridan and wrap them head to toe in muslin, place them in a fever-hot sauna in the worst part of town, turn off every light, barricade the door, and wait....about eight hours.

Well, IIRC I did specify mid-femur to their feet but the muslin and sauna treatment is certainly a nice touch.
