President Donald Trump directed his longtime attorney Michael Cohen to lie to Congress about negotiations to build a Trump Tower in Moscow, according to two federal law enforcement officials involved in an investigation of the matter.
Trump also supported a plan, set up by Cohen, to visit Russia during the presidential campaign, in order to personally meet President Vladimir Putin and jump-start the tower negotiations. “Make it happen,” the sources said Trump told Cohen.
And even as Trump told the public he had no business deals with Russia, the sources said Trump and his children, Ivanka and Donald Trump Jr., received regular, detailed updates about the real estate development from Cohen, whom they put in charge of the project.
Now the two sources have told BuzzFeed News that Cohen also told the special counsel that after the election, the president personally instructed him to lie — by claiming that negotiations ended months earlier than they actually did — in order to obscure Trump’s involvement.

There should be no doubt about the role of the FBI when 2 so called FBI investigators sneak advance information leaks which may or may not be relevant to a judicial hearing. Both should be disciplined.

Around forty currently sitting Democrat representatives voted "Nay" on that charge.
If they don't vote the same way this time, the Deplorables will have imlynchable offenses to pursue.
Cohen is a convicted liar and felon

Cohen reminds me of the lawyer, Leo Getz, in Lethal Weapon. He’s so annoying everybody just wants him to go away.
Trump doesn’t do emails and I’ve doubt it’s emails between associates and Cohen talking about Cohen being told to lie from the President. I doubt Trump even texts Cohen when he can call him anytime but I’ve doubt there’s tapes of Trump talking to Cohen about it.
If Ted Cruz has not thrown his hat in for run in 2020, it has to be fake news.

Another thing I just thought of:
Cohen admitted to lying about the date of the whole Russian Tower project to Congress a few months ago but there was never a charge of conspiracy with the President or anyone else in lying to Congress about said subject. Usually the prosecutors have to lay it all out instead of piece by piece like someone is trying to do right now —
The tower business was supposedly done with well before the election. The article claims that the instruction from Trump to Cohen was after the election, doesn't say if it was before inauguration. Cohen testified to a Senate committee in September 2017.
Don’t tell me anyone on FR would believe this guy!... and why do you put this on here! There are enough media outlets lying about our President... Hannity runs them every night... things I avoid all day, and he plays it..
If there is one simple thing that causes all kinds of problems/trouble... it’s gossip. This article is just gossip.. For 2+ years this stuff had been run to death.. I don’t know how Trump stands it.. most would go stark raving out of their minds!!! Surely, he has proven himself to those who voted for him... I am so over the mueller and his evil bunch... I hope they are brought to justice.. I want to see them being led to prison.. and I don’t know if there is room for them all..it’s the whole obama led government!!!
The claim that the tower business was finished in 2016 is one of the claims Cohen was found guilty of lying about.
