Known as Quantum Stealth, the new invisibility cloak takes the form of a thin, inexpensive material that makes objects vanish from sight even though the background is still visible.
The brainchild of Canadian camouflage design company Hyperstealth Biotechnology, the new material can conceal the presence of entire vehicles and could prove invaluable on the battlefield.
It even works for non-visible wavelengths from mid- and near-ultraviolet to the infrared.

Very good, but the objects did not vanish from sight. Their image was distorted so the objects were not recognizable.
It shouldn’t require much more technology to “undistort” the images and restore some of the original image, perhaps enough to render it recognizable once again.
That’s a Wussian inwention.
I need one at my office so the idiots won’t see me.
For all we know, our own military complex might already have this stuff and is using it out at Area 51 to hide top secret aircraft....or not.

Looks like they’re using large number of prisms to disperse the light.
Gyges of Lydia had a ring which made him invisible if he turned it a certain way. No one knows what happened to the ring after his death.
I would have said yes, but other videos from this website are very convincing.
