Democratic presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg would push for all new cars to be electric by 2035 and new buildings to produce zero carbon emissions by 2025 as part of clean energy plans he released this week.
Bloombergs latest climate plans build off his December plan to cut the United States carbon emissions by 50% by 2030. Thats less ambitious than the Green New Deal that many of his competitors have embraced that calls for achieving net-zero carbon emissions within 10 years. Bloombergs plans do not include total costs or specifics on how they would be paid for, details his campaign advisers say they will share later.
The newest plan, released Friday, outlines how Bloomberg would cut down on pollution from cars and trucks, the nations biggest source of carbon emissions. [ ]
Bloomberg would also invest in high-speed rail, pledging to build an operable segment in the next five years. The United States lags behind Europe and Asia when it comes to high-speed rail, and Californias effort to build the nations first major high-speed rail line, between Los Angeles and San Francisco, has been plagued by cost overruns and delays.

Communist dream: everyone lives in the same kind of apartment and drives the same car and earns the same amount of money.
Except for the ruling elite, which has real money and lives in luxury, while scorning the ordinary folk who pay for their life style.
Sayeth Bloomberg but not for thee.

Somebody buy this guy a copy of Sim City.
Maybe he’ll get into building utopia in a virtual world and leave the rest of us alone.
Bloomberg is a major dork. No one outside of NYC knows who the hell he is. Telling people in the Heartland you’re going to impose “The Green New Deal’’, outlaw Big Gulps and take away their 2nd. Amendment rights isn’t going to get you into office.
A great explanation and exposure of the Climate Change Fraud:
Climate change: What can I do about it and other questions?
Answer: Absolutely nothing.
Climate change: What can the government do about it?
Answer: Absolutely nothing.
Climate change: What can the Democrats do about it?
Answer: Steal your money, wreck the economy and in the end absolutely nothing.

“And the sidewalks in San Francisco “
why, yes: bloomberg just stated that California is a model for the rest of the country to admire and emulate, so presumably the rest of the country would have sidewalks like San Francisco is bloomberg is elected president ...
