The Catholic threads don’t interest me. The daily canteen threads don’t interest me. Certainly the thousand replays of the civil war threads are rarely interesting.
There are a lot of threads because there are a lot of stories. Read them or not.
That’s why life is fun.
People are right to be concerned. Being whipped into obsessional panic isn’t a good thing.
People should be concerned enough to *actually* do the stuff recommended for the flu. That includes getting the flu shot, so you’re less likely to end up in the hospital, and if you do you’ve already started the process of distinguishing between causes.

These people trying to silence all debate on this subject must be Chinese trolls or swamp critters getting ready to retire. I and i am sure many others are sick of all the censorship going on. I am an AMERICAN! You will NOT censor me or my thoughts. Since you are complaining i may even step up my game and start a couple myself.
Folks these people need pushed off these boards. I have yet to hear one come on and offer any meaningful debate or offer any pertainent facts to this topic. All they do is throw out names they think we dont want to hear. Next they will be calling us Racists or baby killers.
It’s a breaking story with many moving parts and different topics. That is why there are many different articles.
It’s incredibly consequential, putting aside the actual health and safety concerns, you may have noticed the stock market pulling back from record highs in a matter of weeks.
So, there you have it. It is a fast moving important story with many facets.
Nobody is making you participate in anything you don’t want to, there are still plenty of posts about politics, religion, and anything else you may be interested in.
Since millions of Americans might die from it, perhaps it’s something we should focus on?
Last week was so brutal, so hopefully things are much better this week.
I noticed that gold is dropping pretty hard. I wonder what that means?
Perhaps China is selling gold to cover losses?

Well, I guess even conservatives can go a bit overboard on these things, but...I think it too shall pass.
Someday...someday, I do believe mankind will be hit again with something we can’t get a handle on, and it will be the Black Plague all over again, I just don’t think this is it IMO.
I counted 51 posts per page, so 21+ pages x 51 is 1,020+ since this first became news. (may or may not be accurate as I did a quick count) 8>)
So my guess is we are nowhere near having run the course of the obsessive posting regarding this topic. Just my guess, because after all it is so scary. I think the count, in the U.S. only) infected so far is less than 50, with 2 unfortunate deaths, of whose families I offer my sincere condolences.
