The last time Mark lost his pet, it dominated his radio show for over a week. I’ve never listened to his show again. Then his offensively never-Trumper BS during the primaries lost any credibility he ever had, with me anyway.

He certainty does not have a problem with wives. Hey it’s a pet, he likes dogs, and that is ok, but put things in perspective; he was through this before with Sprite, even wrote about it. Love his program and his books, but sometimes I wonder what makes him tick.

My wife and I know this pain. This is one example where money can’t touch the joy that comes from these “joy bombs.”

Pets are different than people. They can’t betray you. Cheat on you. Take you to court. Say a bad word against you. They don’t plot to murder you. They don’t pit or play your kids against you.

We don’t lock our houses and cars because we’re afraid pets/animals are going to come after us.

I hope he adopts another right away it will help enormously, I lost my cat after 18 years I was devastated 3 days had to have another the new kitty of course was a lot different BUT it helped immensely with the sadness!!

I’ve had to pt down a few good doggies over the years. The last was about 12 years ago, my big black Lab “Dewar’’. Would love to have a dog but seeing them get sick and have to go... just can’t do it anymore.

How about bears or bison? I lock my car in parks. Was attacked once by a black bear while camping, it was not fun.

Dogs are our partners and we help them as they help us through our own portions of life.

They are a gift.

Yes. Maybe not immediately; but love does no good to anyone or thing enshrined in a ‘mausoleum’.

People who have greatly loved an animal usually love a new one again, and are very glad that they did.
