Thanks! :-) I actually do have two feeders out - the dnew one & the old one. Also, my SIL is next door & they visit her feeder as well (it’s much busier than mine).
I’ll be replacing the old feeder soon. I got a great deal on the new one & I’m waiting a bit to see if I can do as well on another one.
They'll fight over them no matter how many. I used to put out 10 and this year have 6 so I change them more often so the sugar water doesn't forment or mold. Used to use glass feeders and found them hard to keep clean, found that the cheapest $3.50 feeders work just as well and replace them when they get too hard to keep clean. So far am going through about 3 quarts a day trying to keep up with them. 
LOL! Gardens, Homes and related everyday disasters are all part of The Circle of Life. ;)

tomato powder is the bomb when sprinkled on deviled eggs instead of paprika

I too have occasional problems with ants, yet often they don’t find the feeder, it’s strange. I’ve had the feeder hanging on the clothesline, and the ants found it, yet right now I have a feeder sitting 18” from the handrail on the front deck with no formicae at all, even though the sugar ants just outside my garage swarmed yesterday.
I think it may have something to do with there being a small drip, and the ants go looking for the source once they find a sugary spot.
I use it in spicy rice recipes.
Also to thicken up tomatoes for pizza/spaghetti sauce.
Makes a good dip with cayenne and italian seasoning too.
thanks, those all sound good. whats your base for the dip? creamy or vinegar/oil?
I usually just use sour cream.
Occasionally room temp cream cheese.
thanks, creamy sounded good to me. Growing a lot of lettuce this year.
It’s also good added to dirty rice recipes, and just plain stir into pasta dishes or casseroles for flavor/color.
I usually run out of tomato powder first LOL.

A lot of good suggestions here, but one year I had a horrible time with deer and on a whim I bought a motion detecting sprinkler and put it on my hose (battery operated). It was very cool, it sprayed water at anything coming in my garden at night!
Good idea on the canning jars. I got some from ULine recently
I love the idea of powder! My boys all went keto so I really have to find ways to free up freezer space for meat, lol.
