Harrisburg, PA — This morning Governor Tom Wolf is releasing a plan to help Pennsylvania residents recover from the pandemic.

The governor is calling the recovery framework paramount in the recovery process and is pushing for fair, family sustaining wages for all Pennsylvanians.

That would increase the minimum wage for all residents to $12/hour with a path to increasing that number to $15/hour and would provide additional hazard pay to essential workers amid the pandemic.

Gov. Wolf says the state will work to enact better employee protection standards that would protect workers from losing their job if they have to self-isolate due to the coronavirus.

That plan would also expand student loan forgiveness and repayment plans, focusing on debt relief for individuals on the front lines of the pandemic.

Unbelievable---Wolf closes down the state and businesses then calls for these closed businesses that may never reopen, to double the wages of their workers? WTF kind of moron is he?

Hay Wolf - how about cutting taxes? PA gas tax is onerous and hits the guy who has to drive to work every day the hardest.

A communist.

This was never about public health. It’s about a coup on the United States to enforce a communist state.

The never thought I’d see the day where Pennsylvania has the second highest gas in the nation. Only crazy California is higher.

> WTF kind of moron is he? <

He’s Tommy the Commie. At one of his news conferences someone asked Wolf how businesses can get hesitant workers to return to their jobs.

Wolf said that these businesses must keep upping the pay until the workers return.

I greatly sympathize with frightened workers. But many of these businesses have no cash reserves. They are on the verge of bankruptcy. And Wolf tells them to dish out money they don’t have.

Let them eat cake, eh, Gov. Wolf?

Being run by Democrats for decades I’m sure Pennsylvania is sitting on a pile of surplus funds to pay for all of this. /s

I met a guy yesterday who told me he knew Wolf when he was a college kid.

Wolf’s dad owned a large and very successful building materials distributor.

He said Wolf was always trying to get out of work and spouting off all kinds of tree hugger save the planet kinds of stupidity. Bernie Sanders lite.

He sounds like he never grew up.

I have a different proposal. Cut state government by 90%. Cut the business income tax from 9.99% to 0%. Eliminate the personal income tax. Cut the sales tax to 4%. Cut all regulations. Get this fascist government off our backs. And most importantly, have Wolf and his dickless Health secretary immediately resign. Then you will see employment go through the roof.

The governor is economically retarded. Stabbing those small businesses in the back for good measure when they’re down and out is something only a central planner could support

Let’s make it more expensive to hire people back to work! That will fix it.

Right, because anyone unable to produce more than $15/hr value should, by threat of fines/imprisonments, be prohibited from working at all.

I frequently drive from Michigan to DC and always make a point to not buy a damn thing in PA including over taxed gas along the overpriced toll way. PA is a weird state with weird laws.

Same reason Pelosi raised the minimum wage before 2008... to help the economy tank harder.
