Washington - Seattle Police Chief Carmen Best said Sunday the groundswell of support for implementing police reforms that has erupted in the weeks following the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis indicates that there will be long-lasting changes to policing.
"This is a pivotal moment in history," Best said on "Face the Nation." "We are going to move in a different direction, and policing will never be the same as it was before."

Best said protests are peaceful, but said it's been a challenge for her and other Seattle leaders to determine "who is a leader or an influencer."
"I know that many of our city officials and others are trying to establish some sort of communication with someone who can give us some direction about what the intent is and how we might move forward," she said.

From here on out the police will concentrate their efforts on the law-abiding and keep them in line.

It’s time for her and the Mayor to resign and stop wasting taxpayer money
Translation: Police are going to stop doing proactive police work and the crime and murder rates will soar.
The main change my dear Carmen will be martial law in Democratic Cities and a General sitting in the Mayor’s office while his troops, APC’s, tanks, humvees and trucks roam her town.

The Democrats transformed Seattle from a beautiful Northwestern American showcase into a putrid pit. What decent person or legitimate business would want to now locate within its boundaries? The Chief is right. Within a year the police will be politicized and their behavior will resemble the cops in Caracas. The Democrat socialists, nihilists, and communist lowlifes will have their urban enclaves in America. If you voluntarily live there you tacitly agree to forfeit your civil rights guaranteed by the Constitution. Decent America will be found beyond urban enclaves.

I was thinking the same thing. I think the biggest change from all this is that people will take more responsibility for their security rather than relying on police ie, arm themselves.
The only time you will ever see a police officer from here on out is when it is reported that a law-abiding citizen is using a firearm to defend his/herself.
They will be there in seconds to arrest you.
